This is another loaded edition of standup historian. Vic joined me and read chapter three of the book, Project Human Extinction by Chris Thomas.

This is the story of the decade-long MK ULTRA program that used unwitting candidates for mind-control tests.

In this edition of Standup Historian, I talk about the history of CIA tests on unwitting citizens and the possibility of gaining control over a person’s mind became one of the top pursuits for intelligence services.

I talk about the Church Committee and its report regarding the abuse of power by the United States intelligence agencies to conduct experiments on US citizens without their consent.

I talk about Sidney Gottlieb, Dr. Frank Olson, James "Whitey" Bulger, and also projects CHATTER, BLUEBIRD, ARTICHOKE, and of course MKULTRA.

Vic is back and she read chapter 3 of the book Project Human Extinction by Chris Thomas.

In this edition, we talked about the universes and how each universe has one fundamental law, and our universe's law is the Freedom of Choice. Anybody or group or society that decides to achieve total control by force, and by ignoring the greatest law of our universe, namely the Freedom of Choice is condemned to defeat.

I have also talked about the efforts of Western philosophers and thinkers, especially German philosophers such Nietzsche, Goethe, and others to connect the roots of their western civilization to the Eastern schools of philosophy and mysticism and to replace a Judeo-Christian legend of creation with an Aryan narrative.

In this edition of Standup Historian, I told the story of the first Anglo-Afghan war of 1842

Two large European empires struggled for dominance in Central Asia during the nineteenth century. In what was called the "Great Game," the Russian Empire moved south while the British Empire moved north from its so-called crown jewel, colonial India. Their interests collided in Afghanistan, resulting in the First Anglo-Afghan War of 1839 to 1842.

A British incursion into Afghanistan ended in disaster in 1842 when an entire British army while retreating back to India, was massacred. Only a single survivor made it back to British-held territory. It was assumed the Afghans let him live to tell the story of what had happened.

We discussed the Catholic Church, the Vatican, the Crusade against Cathar, and the utter atrocities of the Catholic Church in suppression of women, witch hunts, and the inquisitions.
