Tonight's edition looks at the Leo Full Moon, which is (or was) exact at 6:09 pm EST (23:09 UTC). This Full Moon includes many interesting features — Mercury retrograde in a conjunction with Vesta; a grand trine in the fire signs (Moon, Pallas, Uranus), a kite pattern (add the Sun) and many other nuances. I spend as much time talking about Mercury retrograde conjunct Vesta as I do about the Full Moon — I love describing Vesta. I give a good summary of next week's Mercury station direct. After a musical interlude by Eric Nicolas, I offer some perspectives on how our total immersion in digital life is influencing our relationships and sexuality. Actually, it seems like I sketch out some of the possibilities, describing the digital environment and then considering how, specifically, sex and sexuality play into our lives.

In tonight's edition, I look at Mercury retrograde from a number of different angles. I tell some stories from the final days of producing Cosmophilia, including how we experienced the Mercury retrograde effect. Then in the second part of the program, Daniel Sternstein and I consider what happened in Paris just two weeks ago, and note the differences in how it appeared from Israel and how it appeared from the United States. In tonight's edition, I look at the Charlie Hebdo massacre from several different angles — why it is that we're confronted by tragedies like this over and over; the real state of "free speech" in France; the absurd hypocrisy of leaders from across Europe posing for a photo supporting free speech (while most of them prosecute journalists); and the astrology of the incident and what it says to me. At the top of the program I give an overview of the current astrology including the Sun's last days in Capricorn; Mars in Pisces and Mars conjunct Neptune; the Sun ingressing Aquarius, the Aquarius New Moon and Mercury retrograde in Aquarius. Did I say Aquarius? I think I did! My musical guest is bluegrass supergroup Old and In the Way.

In tonight's edition, I consider the life and ideas of the late NY Gov. Mario Cuomo, telling a personal story wherein he helped me crack one of the most challenging stories I've ever written, involving the safety of 1,300 students living in toxic dormitories. In addition to looking at the current astrology, I offer some thoughts on the 10th anniversary of Eris, the planetary discovery that compelled astronomers to define the word 'planet' for the first time. My musical guest is the magnificent Jane Siberry.

In tonight's edition, we have something extra fun — an interview with Andrew McLuhan, musician, scholar and grandson of Marshall McLuhan. That name lacks the controversy and impact that it once had. But his ideas are more relevant, and more obvious, than ever.

In tonight's edition, I look at the a few more of the top five events of 2015, recapping Chiron and Borasisi in Pisces, then the three conjunctions of Venus and Mars, and the Jupiter-Saturn square. My musical guest is The Greateful Dead, with one song of covered by Burning Spear — and I look at the chart of the first Grateful Dead concert, which was 12/4/65.

In the second half of the program I begin the discussion of the top five events of 2015, covering three of them — Saturn transitioning into Sagittarius, the separating Uranus-Pluto square, and Chiron conjunct Borasisi in Pisces.
