In today's episode, we will begin working with the solar plexus chakras.
The solar plexus chakras color is yellow, and it is represented by a 10 petal lotus. Its element is fire.
The solar plexus works with the pancreas, the other organs associated with this chakra are the abdomen, stomach, upper intestines, liver, gallbladder, kidneys, adrenal glands, spleen, and middle of the spine.
The mental and emotional issues it deals with are courage, trust, fear, self-esteem, self-confidence, self-respect, care for self and others, responsibility for making decisions, sensitivity to criticism, and personal honor.
Physical dysfunctions may be, arthritis, gastric or duodenal ulcers, colon/intestinal problems, pancreatitis, diabetes, indigestion, liver dysfunction, hepatitis, adrenal dysfunction, and possibly anorexia or bulimia.
If you work with crystals, citrine, tiger's eye, yellow topaz, yellow tourmaline, gold, or amber works well for the solar plexus.
Essential oils are juniper, lavender, Bergamot, rosemary, or sacred mountain harmony
The chant for this week's meditation will be RAM
This week's mudra will be tricky, at least it is for me, we will put our thumb, forefinger, and ring finger together. We will be keeping this in our stomach area

In today's episode, I answer a few more questions and we revisit our journal prompts.
How long have you been teaching meditation?
What is a common myth about meditation?
What is the biggest challenge you’re facing in your role/business/project right now and how are you tackling it?
This week’s journal prompts
How do you feel about setting up the time to spend with yourself?
How do you feel after your first week of meditation? Do you notice anything different about yourself?
There are no wrong or right answers. Your journal is just for you to see, so you may answer in any way you like, however you like. You may even choose to not journal at all if you aren't ready for this step yet.
Happy Saturday!
Continuing our daily practice.
Tomorrow I will answer a few more interview questions and review this week's journal prompts.
In today's episode, we will revisit our previous journal prompts from the beginning of our journey to see what if anything has changed for us in the past month.
Grab your favorite beverage, pen, and journal. You can sketch, doodle, or write in your journal.
This week's journal prompts are
How do you feel about setting up a time to spend with yourself?
How do you feel after your first month of meditation? Do you notice anything different about yourself?
There are no wrong or right answers. Your journal is just for you to see, so you may answer in any way you like, however you like. You may even choose to not journal at all if you aren't ready for this step yet.
You can answer these questions daily if you like or you can think about them during the week and journal about them after you have completed your Sunday meditation, or before you begin your Monday meditation.
The nice thing about journaling is as you progress in your daily practice, you can look back and see how far you have come.
In this week's episode, we will combine the root and sacral chakras together. I have removed the three-tiered breathing in the interest of time, I will add it back next week when we work on the solar plexus chakra.
You can use the mudra of thumb and forefinger together throughout the chanting or switch to thumb and pinky finger when we get to sacral chakra.
Root Chakra chant - Lam
Sacral Chakra chant - Vam
In this week's episode, I answer a few more interview questions. I didn't realize my mic wasn't on though so the sound is a bit off. I didn't want to rerecord because I wasn't sure how it would come out if I tried to redo it.
Thanks to everyone that has stuck with me this past month.
Next week we do Root and Sacral chakras together.
Happy Easter to those that celebrate it.
