Hey guys BK Love here, FC6 was pretty good from what I can remember… still trying to pickup the pieces really. Gotta sort em after picking them up ya know… then put em away, ideally in labeled boxes that say something like “memories from the meadow and the forest”… “that time I went camping with my friends” and “lost myself in the music.” Or something like that I guess.

Mixtress is back with this high paced mix sure to get you on the summer rave train.

Starlight Thursdays Episode 168, Welcome PLTNM to the series! He’s been mixing for the past 8 years. Playing at shows like Disco Bloodbath, Shine, Mount Olympus Live, Bass Monsters, Digital Renegades, Perspective and many more. This mix is filled with garage, breaks, house and some hip-hop sure to satisfy your thirst for beats.

This is my first ever released mix as PLTNM and first mix i’ve put out as a whole in quite some years. I’m excited to share the styles that I’ve been getting down to recently!

Why did you get into it?

It started as just a performance counterpart to production that was more convenient than midi controllers, but then I started to really enjoy the process and crowd interaction

I’ve done parties and festivals all over the state under various names over the years, most recently I’ve been playing the Ritual events at The Loft.

Starlight Thursdays Episode 166 welcome Mimsy to the series! Originally from Albuquerque, now based out of Billings Mimsys been producing for the past 4 years, djing the last 2.

Why did you get into it? - I love going to music festivals and really feeling the music with friends.  

What inspires you? Dark hypnotic basses and rhythms. 

This mix is composed of Midtempo, riddim, bassmusic and about 50% of original Mimsy tracks and the other 50% include Quackson, Eclipse Project, Zabo, Drevm, XOTIX.

Starlight Thursdays Episode 166 featuring PRICERIGHT with a live recording from his 3am set at Forest Creatures 5 in the Base Camp stage. Filed with funky fast beats and a bunch of bass house sure to take you back to that moment in time and get the stoke raised for what’s to come. This year PRICERIGHT has been behind the scenes helping with the organization of DJs, Musicians, sound camps and sound systems. It been incredible getting to work on these projects with PRICERIGHT and seeing everything he’s put together for FC6. We’re really in for a fantastic time.

What inspires you? The ability to dance and the unbridled liberation it can bring with it

A few words about your mix?  This is the culmination of my last  6 months of crate digging, it seems very minimal by nature but a lot of time was spent curating this setlist so I hope anyone who listens can enjoy

Starlight Thursdays Episode 162 featuring Forrest. Get ready for some fire beats! This one is giving me some serious dance floor cravings. Just so flavorful.

With the snow melting and festival season quickly approaching I always find myself most inspired to create. So I’ve gathered what I think will be some of the best house tunes of the summer.
