  • Ep 300 - Disco Carrot - Family House Mix - Starlight Thursdays Episode 300
    Starlight Thursdays Episode 300!!!
We’ve got a truly special show for you this week as we celebrate the launch of our brand new snowbound art car: Disco Carrot.
Throughout 2025, we transformed a vintage snow cat into a fully mobile, all terrain DJ booth and wow, what a wild and arduous adventure it’s been. This episode captures the magic of finally firing up the sound system for a two stop ski resort weekend.
We kicked things off at Marshall Mountain in Missoula, then hit the road to Bridger Bowl in Bozeman, bringing the Disco Carrot to life in the snow.
This recording features a family style, 3+ hour set with seven DJs sharing the decks, rotating in and out while dropping their favorite tracks. You’ll hear BK Love, 9B49, Mimsy, Jenn N Juice, Party Robbin’s, Take a Chance, and Mar all under one roof, all in one DJ booth.
What a way to kick off the Disco Carrot launch.

  • EP 299 - Sticky People - Live @ NYE 2026 - Starlight Thursdays Episode 299
Episode 299 of Starlight Thursdays features Sticky People with a live, hardware-driven set. This is an experiment, a musical journey. It could be Breaks, it could be House, it could be something only Sticky people knows. either way, we had a blast grooving to it at our 10 year NYE Anniversary Party.
Drawing inspiration from classic artists and personal turning points, Sticky People weaves samples, reinterpretations, and original material into a cohesive live performance that reflects both growth and confidence behind the gear.
    - Words from the Artist -
I think this mix technically lands in breaks, since most of the tracks don’t use a straight four-on-the-floor kick, but to me it still feels a lot like house. These are some of my favorite tunes I’ve put together over the last year, and they’ve grown out of playing live whenever I get the chance.
I’ve played a few parties where I had a couple hours to really stretch out, which gave me space to try new beats and ideas. Over time, I’ve been feeling more confident performing a dance set live—something I only really first attempted at Starlight Reunion’s 2025 New Year’s Eve celebration.
One of the highlights for me is a remix—more like a cover—of “Jettin” by Digable Planets. I saw them play it with a full band at Coachella in 2006, and it completely changed my life. Reworking that track into something house-inspired felt like a way to honor that moment. I also sampled a snippet of Jimmy Garrison’s bass solo from A Love Supreme, along with a piece of John Lee Hooker, pulling a little bit of that history into this set.

    Starlight Thursdays Episode 297
    Welcome Lunara to the show.
This talented DJ started their journey as a performer a year ago. Based in Boise Idaho. They’ve had the pleasure to play at Space Banana, Idaho Vitality Festival, HapHap Lounge (I'm Just a Girl Event) and continues to drive her sound forward with ambition stemming from there love for the music and culture.
Here’s a few words from our featured artist Lunara
When DJing I really enjoy taking the crowd on a musical journey, and build my sets with this in mind. I'm inspired by artists whose music reflects really adventurous and immersive sonic palettes. I love when artists are able to create a landscape through sound that is both emotional, and also helps me connect to myself in a greater way. You’ll hear tracks from Global & Synthetix, Fold & Cur.ve, Exos and genres like bass, trance, minimal techno and progressive house. Hope you enjoy!

  • Ep 296 - sig.soltari - Kitchen Recursion - Starlight Thursdays Episodes 296
Starlight Thursdays Episode 296 featuring sig.soltari in Kitchen Recursion.
This episode is all about friendship and chosen family. When SiG and Soltari had a back to back set planned that they haven’t yet had a chance to play. Spontaneously, they revisited and pivoted plugging the decks in on the kitchen counter, hooking up some speakers, loading fresh music, and hitting record. Go time.
What followed was a spontaneous back to back feel-good session fueled by trust, creativity, and the simple joy of playing music together. Bring the vibe, DJs.
This marks the first but definitely not the last collaboration between Denver collective La Mina and Starlight Reunion. More shared moments, more dance floors, more family gatherings to come.

  • EP 293 - Celestial Flooring - No Fair Peaking - Starlight Thursdays Episode 293
We are honored to welcome a veteran of the craft to SR Thursdays - Celestial Flooring
Currently operating out of Brooklyn, NY, his career spans 31 years of translating and navigating the inexplicable.
With such a long time behind the decks, Celestial Flooring has covered events and dance floors that are "innumerable, plentiful, many, and blessed."
This experience amalgamates into a a style that is generatively woven, openly crafted, adventurous, and surprising (even to the spellcaster himself!).
A few words from the artist -
"I like to operate with a joyful sense of recklessness, and all of my mixes happen scratched in live and tended to over open air, without a net. Every time I play I like to be as surprised as any dancefloor could ever be, that there's magic to explore in the spaces where things come together in wild new ways. When I dj honestly I just get out of the way and let the sound find where it wants to be, it's a special place and I'm always blessed to get to take the journey too." - Celestial Flooring

  • EP 291 - MumbleBee Live @ the Renegade - Starlight Thursdays Episode 291
MumbleBee plays a set at a renegade rave deep in the mountains of Montana. November is mild, full of sun and not too much wind. the wet earth sighs its warmth as we slough our jackets and dance alongside amused pines and a soft creek.
This mix features a few of their own creations and collaborations, which compliment a tasty blend of electronic music - kinda like a good soup.
