"I was truly honored to be invited to perform for the Starlight Reunions residency at

The Badlander, Frequency Expedition. Thank you so much to everyone who came

out to dance and celebrate live music. It means so much to me and the

community. It had been many years since I last played The Badlander, and the

remodeled space and new vibe were absolutely incredible. I’m so grateful to have

been back, sharing that night with all of you." - GETDOWN

Thanks for listening, see you on the dancefloor!

Welcome back dear listeners! This week, we are joined by Stratik, who invites us to stare deeply into the world of melodic techno with their mix: Eye of the Beholder. (disintegration ray not included)

Stratik, a lover of raves and electronic music; a DJ of 14 years, operates out of Billings, MT. They have dazzled stages at Tesseract, Resurgance, Polaris, and an endless list of house parties and clubs.

Inspired by the mystical, spiritual, and psychedelic meaning of music, they've set their gaze on a melodic mix that includes artists such as Detuned, Tinlicker, Daniele Di Martino, VNTM, and more. But hey.. don't let me spoil it all, come see(hear) for yourself!

A few words from the artist:

"This is one of my favorite sounds I haven't had the opportunity to play live for people yet. I love to tell a story with my mixes, there should be highs and lows and surprises that sweep you off your feet, and that's what I try to achieve with every mix I record. I hope this music can teleport you somewhere else, if only for a little while. I love you and I love all humans and pray to see peace and prosperity on earth and unity in our life time. 🙏" - Stratik

Meg brings a hypnotic blend of deep house, tech, and indie dance in this NYE 2025 teaser — a sound she’s been steadily pivoting toward and making her own. Inspired in part by discovering Paul Traumer at Burning Man 2025, this recording leans into groove and late night momentum.

Meg is also the force behind the Starlight Zebra residency, helping shape spaces for forward thinking sounds and dance floor connection. This mix feels like an extension of that vision: playful, deep, and effortlessly cool.

Starlight Thursdays Episode 304 Pinedrops back to back with MAR

Live at the UM Rail Jam on the Disco Carrot.

Recorded during an unforgettable evening at the University of Montana Rail Jam, this back-to-back session captures Pinedrops and MAR delivering a driving house music set. Microphone announcements are all preserved in this recording, documenting the atmosphere of a fully immersive moment shared between artists, athletes, and community. With a massive turnout and constant momentum from start to finish, this mix reflects the intersection of music, movement, and mountain culture.

Pinedrops and Mar absolutely crushed on the decks and the sound system carried the vibe throughout the crowd.

In EP 303, kaPOWski is BACK behind the decks in this live recording from Jester's in Helena, MT. Did you take one too many chill pills?

Are you made of solids and/or fleshy organic shapes?

Did you jump from the surface of the moon too enthusiastically, thus sentencing yourself to a long, slow demise struggling for momentum within the vacuum of space? (3.5/10 experience would not recommend.)

Do you need/want/yearn to freakin' DANCE and/or GYRATE?!

.....

Then you've come to the right spot!

A few words from the Artist:

"This is a live recording of the set I played at The Jester’s Bar in Helena in December 2025. Thanks to The Fox Den for organizing an awesome lineup and takeover series!" - kaPOWski
