Operating in Missoula, and a musician of tender years, Mystic Wolf loves sharing his music with his community. Mystic Wolf has opened dance floors for musical talents like Kr3ture and Random Rab, and recently has performed at Lovers and Lunatics festival.

Inspired by Nature and the primal pulse that connects us to our highest selves, the depths of the earth, and the cosmos, Mystic Wolf has blended an organic, electronic mix that includes artists like Savej, Dirtwire, and himself in a set he played when he opened for Kr3ture at the Top Hat this past April.

Is a cave a landscape? It's certainly very land, but it is very scape? idk, y'all can decide..

This mix was inspired by my imagination of what it would be like to rave in a cave. Close your eyes (unless you're driving or performing surgery or something), and imagine yourself surrounded by stalagmites and wet air. All your favorite people are there, and weird cave music is emanating from a throat in the rock that descends deep into the earth.

We're talking about a gay after-after party! That's right, this mix from Mimsy was captured live at House of Dorothy - the capstone to a wild and vibrant Missoula Pride weekend back in June.

Mimsy operates out of Bozeman, MT as a DJ and producer. While he can effortlessly curate any dancefloor, any party and any vibe, his true inspiration and mastery stems from Midtempo Bass.

We are excited to archive this particularly dark, industrial, and inspiring set.

Welcome Dj.Ki to the decks. Straight out of Billings, MT, Four years deep into the craft, he got his start the best way possible, following in his dad’s footsteps, who remains his biggest supporter, mentor, and inspiration to this day.

With the marginally anticipated return of the Backseat DJ long past and perhaps remembered and possibly cherished likely by some or even a few folks, our musical protagonist (Sticky People) returns from his roots back to the branching streams of hardware driven, live, improvisational performance. This mix captures a moment in effervescence - as is the nature of performance.

I'd like to take a moment and reflect on the wonderful opportunity we at Starlight Reunion have been given to archive moments like these - live musical improvisation, edge of your seat selecting, careful curation, sharing a space with sound and people; all breaching a dance floor like flash lightning in the night. I'd like to thank Sticky People, as well as the multitude of artists who have contributed to this vast archive of an often all too momentary art form.

"So the first few weeks of this year were utter bullshit. There was a lot of that last year too. Come to think of it, there’s been a lot since! I didn’t really feel like doing anything pretty for this set. That was also kind of nerve wracking, because this was at the union club. These people are not here for me. They’re mostly here to drink. But instead of trying to “play the hits” (cuz you know i got em!) or playing to the crowd, I really just wanted to get weird with it. Surprisingly, the room really vibed with what I threw out."

This Thursday mix features the reinvigorated sounds of MamaT.

For over a decade, MamaT has been a mover and shaker in the Montana scene. She has worked with larger productions to host artists like Bassnectar and Beats Antique in the state, as well as a sound/stage manager with Playground Enterprises. Additionally, MamaT has been gracing rave stages of Montana such as Pirate Party, Fairy Tale, Montana Magic, Crystal Mountain, RAD Après, Boogie On The Beach, and numerous mountain parties.

Now back from a 2 year hiatus, MamaT is mixing for broken hearts, recovery, and connection. The mix (which includes artists such as Tonino & Styffn, Austin Millz, Gorgon City, San Pacho, Walker & Royce, Kamino, Wenzday, Bautista, Deeper Purpose, and Sidepiece), is inspired by love, loss, sex, desire, and release. it grooves at the edges of chemistry where music and emotion, and movement all blend together.

Every generation of DJs builds on the techniques and inspirations of the previous generation. One to watch out for is Mar. starting out with commercial selections, Mar had been branching out and digging deeper in the the darker and heady realms of minimal electronic music.

With only a year and a half behind the decks, you'd think Mar was born with some kind of musical sonar in his brain. his ability to blend the known and unknown is fresh and inspiring. including artists such as MJ Cole and Wookie mixed with Grenier, Facta, and Pura Pura. Mar is constantly pushing the style deeper and deeper, and honestly, we're here for it.

which his unshakable drive to innovate, Mar is inspiring Djs both young and old to dust off their radars and build something magical.
