Start Kyle Orton

Three hours of the NFL draft from pick 1 to pick 32! Listen as the guys discuss football (maybe) Godzilla (definitely) hair (or the lack thereof) cats (unquestionably) and, eventually, Dillon Thieneman!

This week Travis is out here cold and alone! With the draft mere days away there are some announcements to get out about the upcoming 4th annual SKOdcast Live Draftcast. After that he gets into the back 7 of the defense in this draft. Is there any LB the Bears should be going after in the first two rounds? How about corner? And finally, we seem to know the Bears are taking a safety, but where, and who? Thanks for listening, and we'll see you Thursday!

This week on the SKOd we go all in on the DL in an exhaustive episode covering everyone we think could go to the Bears in round 1 and/or 2 (and maybe beyond!). The guys agree, disagree, agree to disagree, and generally bemoan the state of the draft AND the Bears defensive line. Enjoy!

This year the guys are talking about the offense (sans OL) in a single episode! And that really tells the story about this draft class. Deep on defense, light on offense, and lacking many interesting players. What do we think about Fernando Mendoza and his slightly more mysterious brother, Francisco Mendoza? Is there a game breaking wide receiver in this draft the Bears should target? Wow, for a league moving back towards the run game this draft sure is bereft of good RB prospects. And what's all this fuss about Kenyon Sadiq?

The SKOd starts their draft coverage this week, and this year we break with tradition and start with the offensive line! Quinten Krzysko of Bears on Tap (@ButkusStats) is back for the second year to talk about big sweaty men slapping man meat, and this year the Bears suddenly need a young center and MIGHT want a tackle. Who is the best tackle in this class? Who should the Bears take at 25 regardless of anything else if he's available? What about a center with those second round picks?

Also, Kyle published a book! Incomplete Pass: A History of Chicago Bears Quarterbacks is on sale now in paperback or on Kindle Unlimited through our almighty ruler, Amazon! Either throw "Incomplete Pass" into the search bar on Amazon or click the truly unwieldy link below link below:

Day 1 of free agency is almost over and the Bears have been active! Active trading for a center to replace the dearly departed Drew Dalman. Active in replacing Tremaine Edmunds! Active in signing Kobe Bryant?! A little late for that eh guys? Active in bringing back our beloved Braxton Jones for one last ride! Activating Travis against the NFL by not being granted those comp picks! All that discussed and much more, thanks for listening!

This week on the SKOd we have the results of a long gestating experiment wherein Ryan Poles' 4 drafts do epic battle with 4 truly simple-minded robots (Excel formulas) ((Travis is an accountant, okay?!)) to see who comes out on top. How obvious have his good picks really been? Could he have honestly done much better on his bad picks? Who wins, man or machine?!

This week Kyle lays out what he means by a Gremlin QB, Dishonorable Yards, and a Shanny Bot! What's a Jalen Hurts? Who is a Justin Herbert? WHY is a Jayden Daniels? How is Jared Goff? And where is Travis?! Thanks for listening!

This week the guys grade the rest of the Bears, this time on the defensive side, and they have much harsher sentiments for this side of the ball. This is of course except for team MVP Dayo Odeyingbo. Thanks for listening!

This week on the SKOD we have entered the Bears offseason, and for the first time in forever we just want next year to start already! To wrap up a fantastic first season with Ben Johnson at the helm the guys have brought back season report cards for each Bear. This week is for the offense. Sit back and enjoy as we grade out everyone with relevant snaps this season. Thanks for listening!
