According to an ET report, the satellite-based system, which will be developed in partnership with ISRO, will provide air pollution data online to the Coal India and the government.

If Coal India and ISRO become successful in developing this satellite-based pollution monitoring, India will stand right to next to US-government’s space agency, NASA, for working in this domain.

How Will Satellite Monitor Air PollutionIn this partnership with ISRO, Coal India’s subsidiary, Central Mines Planning and Development Institute (CMPDI), has taken up the responsibility for satellite-based monitoring of respirable particulate.

“We are working with ISRO’s Hyderabad-based National Remote Sensing Centre for developing a new system for our mines,” a senior Coal India official told ET.

The round was led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Seaya Ventures, with participation from existing investors Inveready Technology Investment Group and Conexo Ventures.

In conjunction with the funding, Alex Doll and Paul Ayers from Ten Eleven Ventures and Beatriz Gonzalez from Seaya Ventures will join buguroo’s board.

Founded in 2015 by Pablo de la Riva, CEO, buguroo develops a solution for online fraud prevention known as bugFraud, which enables banks across the globe to protect their customers in real-time from all the online fraud use cases.

Cymulate today announced that it has raised $15 million in venture capital as the cybersecurity company continues international expansion of its cloud-based platform.

The company’s service allows clients to simulate potential attacks in order to optimize security systems to thwart them.

By automating the ability to test, Cymulate allows more periodic testing than manually creating simulated scenarios designed to mimic certain attacks.

The round was led by Vertex Growth Fund, with participation from previous investors, including the Vertex Ventures Israel, Dell Technologies Capital, and Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE).

The Emergent Neuro Suite is intended for triage of cytotoxic edema, hemorrhage, and mass effect, all of which are exceptionally time sensitive.

Nines is currently in discussions with the FDA regarding the evidence that the agency will require to support a marketing application for its Emergent Neuro Suite.

The Emergent Neuro Suite is an investigational device in the US, limited by Federal law to investigational use.

Detectify, a Swedish web application security startup, has today announced its latest financing round of €21.5 million.

The series B round was led by venture capital firm Balderton Capital, and supported by existing investors Paua Ventures, Inventure and Insight Partners.

Detectify does this through ‘Detectify Crowdsource,’ an invite-only ethical hacker network.
