Episode 15: Define your OWN VALUE.

People often try to define us in a way that does not suit us or our life’s ambitions.

They put us in a box that reflects how they feel, without considering how we wish to perceive ourselves.

As a result, they wind up dragging us down, further and further into despair and melancholy.

What we must do is remove such influences from our lives for good, and instead surround ourselves with those who love and uplift us genuinely. As in, keeping the people who believe in us when we even fail to believe in ourselves.

Only then can we truly rise up and live a life worth living.

Life is short. Do not spend it making compromises. Instead, spend it with the right company, and most importantly of all, define your own worth and value.

Episode 14: Why you must always AVOID GOLD DIGGERS!

Often times, both men and women find themselves in a position where they are going out with a person who is a gold digger.

When deliberating what the definition of a gold digger, people often find themselves confused.

The simple explanation is, that a gold digger is a person who seeks to befriend or become romantically involved with a certain individual or group of individuals, with the hope of benefiting financially, or through other material resources and benefits.

These individuals can often be charming, and possess a certain level of beauty that they use to manipulate their victim.

Not only are they unethical and Machiavellian, yet they can also pose a threat to the victim’s life quality, as the victimized parties often find themselves struggling to keep up with the gold digger’s ever growing demands, or trying to impress them to win their fancy.

These people are a cancer, and the only manner in which they can be effectively dealt with is by shutting them down and not dealing with them at all.

Love and friendship cannot be bought and sold, nor can genuine human interaction.

Instead, surround yourself with those who seek to empower you, and help you in your life journey.

Life is too short to waste it on users and people who are a human succubus.

Every moment, whether you are conscious of it or not, is your personal narrative.

When we feel a need to make changes in our lives, we can rewrite or revise our story any time we like. It is an opportunity to reinvent ourselves, to start over, and to behave in new and different ways.

The start of a new year is a great time to think about rewriting your story by looking at your past, and deciding what changes to make for the future.

Our experience of the world is shaped by the stories we tell ourselves and our interpretations of it, and these stories can often become so distorted and destructive that they completely hinder our ability to live balanced, purposeful, happy lives. So the key to personal transformation is story transformation.

Develop a new muscle: write a new narrative today when faced with a moment that brings up that same old story.

If a moment does not feel good, you have the choice to write a new story. Let go of the old stories that create those old feelings and draft a new one with a new outcome and have a happier day. Try it out and let us know how it goes!!

Episode 12: The importance of aiming for and finding your PASSION in life.

In the world we live in today, we often observe in others, or even ourselves, that there is a lack of drive and passion in the route we have decided to embark on professionally.

This is because many of us fail to truly seek that passion through introspection and self-learning, as it is crucial for us to look within ourselves first and foremost, and ask ourselves what it is that we would like to pursue. Following this undertaking, we must aim to teach ourselves skills and talents continuously through erudition and experimentation.

This is because one cannot truly know what they excel at or would like to do until they find themselves doing it, and something clicks in their brain, when they suddenly realize that they have found their calling, and are not only working to survive, but thrive.

Hence, we at The Real encourage you to go forth, experiment, fail, and to not be afraid of looking the fool. For as the saying goes, “The fool is the precursor to the hero.”
