Christine Franklin, Lothar Tresp Honoratus Honors Professor and Undergraduate Coordinator in Statistics at the University of Georgia, joined the Stats+Stories regulars to talk about statistics concepts that seem especially important for being a numerate citizen. She was the lead writer for the American Statistical Association (ASA) Pre-K-12 GAISE Framework that served as the basis for the statistics strand in the new national Common Core State Standards for K-12 mathematics.
