Today, I’m talking about pockets of the bond market that you should avoid in 2023, and 2 stand out: 

• Long-term bonds (not rewarded) - risky if rates continue higher 

• Junk, low quality, less liquid bonds - economy deteriorates = defaults

• Easy money for low-quality businesses for too long. That’s all changing now that rates are higher (explain debt service for higher debt companies, eating into profits, not able to refi, death spiral
