I think it's time to come clean with some things...Stay Open will be no longer. APRIL FOOLS. I'm not going ANYWHERE BABY. In this week's episode I "smell the roses" if you will. Partake in the green good, if you will. And this episode dives deep into a lot of topics. Including but not limited to: child acting and how I was an actress in Hollywood as a child, Tik Tok stars Alix Earle and Pookie, legislation I would write around Mary Jane, and if I'm running for President. Buckle up, strap in, and light a J. This episode is so fun.
I am absolutely unhinged in this episode, but it is a gem if I do say so myself. This week is the first installment of "Tea In Your 20's" where I share the pieces of advice and knowledge that I have learned in my 20's. This is not your regular advice. I really want to explore the things that NO ONE TELLS YOU IN YOUR 20's. This episode is for the girls that need a friend to talk you through your drive, carry you through your makeup routine, or just simply to hang out with.
Finding your unique style can be hard when it seems like every day there is a new aesthetic or trend to try on. Especially when trying to find your style is coupled with the constant growth and change of life. So...be whom you want. Try out the trends you like. It's time to take the beige aesthetic up a couple notches by adding a little *spice*.
Cue "Bad Guy" by Billie Eilish. This episode is starting 2024 off with a bang...more like a roar. In ep #34 Arletta invites you to let your inner beat out and speak your mind. Stand up for yourself. Let people know how you really feel. Gone are the days where we sit by and play the innocent, nice, content little girl. In 2024, women are here to let their strength and light show. Your inner beast is a gift-a power. Stop hiding her away just to appease everyone around you. Your inner beast deserves to be heard.
Happy few days after Christmas! The winter cold took me down and this was the best I got. Enjoy this little episode where I share my favorite material items that I could NOT have lived without in 2023. A little gift guide if you will. As well as a cute little Christmas tree story of how Zach and I found our lollipop tree this year. I hope you had a fabulous holiday<3
In a culture of over consumption, toxic behavior, and demanding distractions-it's time to cut out the bullsh*t. In this episode, Arlee talks about ridding that bull and cutting out the things that no longer serve us.
The new and improved Stay Open show is back and better than ever. In this New Years Special, Arlee dives into her 2023, how she is learning to stay consistent when one faces failure and takes you alongside her one woman show.
You know those days where you just cry at the drop of a hat?! That was me in this episode. *Insert feel good conversations about topics that didn’t make me want to cry. This week I pick up where we left off with Scandoval, and dive into the season finale of Vanderpump. That somehow leads to THE SHANIA TWAIN CONCERT described and analyzed in full detail by me (which was great but I have some THINGS TO SAY). I then just have a real talk with where I’m at in this season of life. I’m in my Slow Girl Summer Era, microdosing, saying no, and listening to what I need.
I’m back bitchesss…did you miss me? After taking 1 year off, Arletta is back to talk about where she’s been and what she’s been doing. This episode is like catching up with an old friend and gives you all the feel good energy of just getting the chance to finally spill the tea. If you are as obsessed with SCANDOVAL as Arlee is, then buckle up because she dives into the nitty gritty details of the (reality) scandal of the century. As well as discussing the art of working ON your life NOT in it. Is this episode chaotic?Maybe. But it wouldn’t be a proper dysfunctional guide without coming back in true Arletta form. Sit back, relax, and enjoy this episode!
Such a large part of our 20’s is people pleasing and growing pains. We try to fit ourselves into old roles that we used to fill. But with age comes maturity and with maturity comes growth. It is okay to no longer feel like you fit. It is okay to change who you are. Hell, it is okay to change the music you like, the friends you hang out with, the style of your clothes. You are who YOU say you are. Not the person who everyone else wants you to be.
