We have to be very careful about what we allow in our lives. Some things are seeds and through nourishment and consistent care, can grow into fruits that are beneficial to us, our relationship with God and others. Other things can turn out to be weeds. Distractions and lack of discernment can allow the weeds to grow and take from the seeds that we are trying to grow in our lives. In this episode, we talk about some of the seeds we’re trying to grow and weeds that started to infiltrate.

Kevin “K-Anthony” Fowler joins us to talk about his journey in becoming a Contemporary Christian Artist. Aspiring to be many things, God directed his path to the music industry to be a vehicle where others can hear the Gospel. Funny enough, when we recorded this episode, K-Anthony had just been nominated for the Juno Awards and we talk about how he found himself to be on a billboard for it. A month later, K-Anthony won the 2024 Juno Awards for the Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album category for his album, Arrow. How does fear impact our mental, emotional, spiritual and physical selves? In this episode we talk about what happens to us when we are afraid. The perception of fear can have a huge impact on how we see our reality. But God is love, and perfect love casts out all fear. We get really deep in talking about the things that have scared us in our lives, and how God is showing us to finally face them head on.

She is also a pastor and a prolific author, who is the first female Senior Pastor in the Seventh-day Adventist denomination.
