Were backkkk!! Another awesome episode of the Stay Wild, Trauma Child Podcast.
In this episode we are talking about Forgiveness. This is going to be part one of the discussion, where we are talking about forgiving other people and how it is an essential part of the healing journey. Definitely not always an easy thing to do but, forgiveness in general isn't always an easy thing but, it is so freeing once you allow yourself to go to the space of healing.
As always be on the alert for severe potty mouthsss! What can I saw we sparkle cuss words on our podcast like glitter!!! (sorry not sorry)
And believe us, our moms already know we have them!
This is also your trigger warning that we talk about highly difficult topics such a domestic violence, murder, sudden loss, grief, mental health and other areas of abuse. So please take note that if those topics are hard for you to listen to, this is not going to be the show for you.
As always, we love you. Be good to yourself.
Stay Wild.

So.. to be honest, this was supposed to be split into two episodes but, we clearly don't know how to shut up!
With that being said... Welcome back to another episode of Stay Wild, Trauma Child!
There has been a lot of discussion in our home about different stages of our lives, how we feel about the progress we have made during those stages and the progress we didn't make.
Just a reminder, we use the F word like a comma, an adjective and a verb, sorry not sorry.
Also this is your trigger warning that we talk about some highly sensitive topics such as domestic violence, murder, sudden loss, grief, mental health and anything else that will stir the pot! So if any of those topics bother you, this is definitely not the show for you!
If you are one of our people, grab a beverage and a comfy seat cause you're in for the long haul on this one =]
We love you.
Stay Wild, Trauma Child.

Thank you for joining us for another episode of the Stay Wild, Trauma Child Podcast!
In this episode we are acknowledging the fact that it is absolutely 100% OK for you to not be OK, especially not 24.7.
Let be honest alot of shit goes on in life and it is imporssible to ALWAYS be OK.
So here we are giving you the permission to acknowledge that you aren't OK and that is your right to feel that way.
That doesn't mean that you can't do things to make yourself feel better and work towards being in a better place but, it means that if you know you just need a day or two to relax and process...take the time to do so, you will feel better in the long run.
As always, beware of our potty mouths and the harsh truth bombs we throw your way.
Also, this is your trigger warning that there is talk of sudden loss, grief, mental health and possibly a few other topics that may upset you so if any of those things bother you, this isn't going to be the show for you.

Welcome to Episode 8 of the Stay Wild, Trauma Child Podcast!
If you are new to our show, welcome and let us fill you in on how things go down on our show. We virtually have no filters so if swearing and dark humor are not things you enjoy, I would suggest not listening to our show.
Also we talk about some highly sensitive subjects Trigger Warning Those subjects include domestic violence, murder, grief, sexual assault, mental health, suicide and addiction.
In this particular episode we are discussing Denormalizing Toxic behaviors that become the "norm" in relationships. This is not narrowed down to simply romantic relationships but, the ones that we have with our family and friends as well.
Sometimes it takes an outside source to point out that certain behaviors may not be "normal". Too often it can be hard for us to see outside of these toxic behaviors because they may be the only frame of reference that we have.
Thank you for joining us and remember... Stay Wild, Trauma Child 🤍

When trying to unlearn negative or toxic coping skills, you first have to determine which ones are your biggest ‘enemy’. For a lot of us, we aren’t educated enough in the ways or mental health, abuse, trauma etc to identify EXACTLY what the problem is.
My personal rule of thumb has been to start with educating myself, then identify what my biggest issues are from a knowledgeable perspective, set realistic goals to help change that pattern and then “have meetings” and check in with myself.
Then, rinse and repeat with each thought pattern or behavior. One step at a time, don’t bite off more than you can chew… healing is HARD 🤍
Always acknowledge your progress, even down to the tiniest victories.
Thank you for joining us and remember... Stay Wild, Trauma Child 🤍

Trigger Warning
Those subjects include domestic violence, murder, grief, sexual assault, mental health, suicide and addiction.
In Episode 6 we are discussing self awareness and how it can be used as an excuse to be an asshole, which in our opinion means you still have a ways to go on your healing journey, or maybeee you really just are an asshole, who knows?!
We also discuss the areas in our own lives that we have become more self aware!

Hi and welcome to the shit show!
After an unimaginable series of truly life…
Our mission is to create a platform where people have a place to:
🌒 Feel seen
🌒 Grieve
🌒 Feel supported
🌒 Find laughter in the dark moments
🌒 Feel understood
🌒 Safely explore their trauma without judgment
🌒 Feel accepted
🌒 Celebrate the tiny victories
🌒 NOT feel 'behind' or broken
We want our listeners to feel normal in the abnormal and to give a voice to the unheard.
And as with any walk of life, the mission has evolved a bit since we have started. Don’t you worry, we are still committed to sharing the raw details of our healing journeys in the most authentic and humorous of ways. But now, we finally feel confident enough to start giving you new information, recommendations and resources that we’ve found along this emotional expedition! 🤗
Que drumroll for Season 2:
✨ The Demolition Diaries ✨
In this season, we will be heavily focused on both learning about and deconstructing the dozens of different psychological theories and breakdowns surrounding wounds, traumas, triggers and the maladaptive behaviors that we develop as non-constructive coping mechanisms.
⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING⚠️
We will be covering things such as (but not limited to) mental/emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, divorce, co-parenting, mental disorders, neurological disorders, sudden loss, addiction, loving someone who’s an addict, guiding your children through trauma and loss etc.
We are frequently checking in with each other to make sure that we are staying true to our tagline that’s been with us since day one.
“Learn
WITH us, not FROM us.”
We are not doctors or professionals and we most certainly don’t have all the answers (yet! 😉). But we DO feel that it is vital to provide real people (going through very real and very human experiences) with an honest, raw and relatable source to grow WITH.
Lastly and most importantly...
our biggest hope is that while exploring the many facets of life, liberty and LITERALLY the many different pursuits of happiness... we can help your inner child both to remember and feel safe enough to find their wild again. ❤️
Xoxo
always,
Steph & Jaim
