Steelbook Obsessed

There are 26 titles to go over tonight and we have a lot of boutique love to go around. I've had the chance to watch a few of these so the ones that I have seen I will talk about and go over my letterboxd reviews. Also there is a Gruv steelbook sale that we will go over as well and see if there are indeed any great deals to be had.

There are 21 new release steelbooks coming out in the month of August. Needless to say that some look better than others and I will be ranking each and every steelbook.

It's always bizarre to see the same movie receive a release from two different boutique labels but since we are reviewing Carrie from 1976 I thought that it might be a great time to talk about the pros and cons from Arrow Video & Scream Factory. I can't wait to have a heated debate with my guest Corey from Wilky's Movies & Music.

Even though there are only 21 titles in this week's stack the size of this stack is not tiny in the lease... in fact it is chock full of greatness. Should be fun to go through this stack.

I have quite the stack of movies this week to add to the collection and I can't wait to talk about all of them.

Special Features are one of the main reasons why I love to collect physical media. Once you are done watching a film you can discover how that film was made, see scenes that were cut from a film, watch the cast and crew have a great time and more. Today I get the pleasure to talk to Justin Beahm who has crafted special features for over a decade and for numerous boutique labels.

Another week, another giant stack of movies... 24 to be exact. Half of today's pickups are boutique titles and this is the second week in a row where I picked up some vinyl titles as well.

There are so many great steelbook releases coming out in the month of July and I can't wait to start ranking them. Let me know what releases you are excited to pick up in the comments.

I am adding a mix of 19 blu-rays and 4K's into the collection and there is something in here for just about anyone. Which one of these is your favorite?

During the month of July there are so many physical media sales that and it can become a bit overwhelming to check out all of them. Today my guest Last Movie Standing and I will talk about all of the sales going on in the month of July as well as review Cry Baby on 4K from Kino Lorber
