Steiny and Guru

Warriors TV voice Bob Fitzgerald joins Steiny & Guru to discuss calling his SIXTH Olympic Games, doing men's basketball, and calling Stephen Curry's FIRST crack at a Gold Medal.

Steiny & Guru try to figure out if the Giants problems with holding the fans attention has to do with performance or star power.

Steiny & Guru kickoff the week with a conversation about choking in sports and negotiation tactics. Everything is being swayed to the younger generation, but what do we need to gatekeep? Also, has Steiny been keeping something to himself when criticizing athletes? Finally, Guru pulls Klay's and Aiyuk's card.

Hour 1 - Steiny & Guru open Monday with a look at social media's influence on contract negotiations and the latest tactic employed by the Warriors biggest free agent, Klay Thompson.

Hour 3 - Steiny & Guru analyze the newest subliminal message from a clearly disgruntled 49ers WR, Brandon Aiyuk. Why did he feel the need to share from his Tik Tok that the 49ers (allegedly) don't want him?!

Hour 2 - Steiny & Guru try to determine whether or not Rory McIlroy CHOKED at the 2024 US Open or if Bryson Dechambeau earned it so much that you forget Rory's final putt. What is it about the word 'choke' that does it to people?

Hour 4 - Steiny & Guru wrap the day by evaluating which unhappy player (Klay or Aiyuk) has the upper hand in their negotiations. Plus, why does Klay, as a grizzled veteran, stoop to the level of a player trying to get their FIRST contract. It might prove to be the difference!

49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk posted a Tik Tok insinuating the 49ers might not want him on the team any longer and what that means for his contract extension negotiations.

Steiny & Guru debate back and forth the pressure filled moment that Rory McIlroy came up short at the 2024 US Open and how much was HIM and how much was Bryson DeChambeau, who won.

Steiny & Guru react to the news that Klay Thompson scrubbed his IG and unfollowed the Warriors, plus Shams Charania saying Thompson will OFFICIALLY test Free Agency.
