Steiny and Guru

Steiny and Evan speak with former Warriors President of Operations, Bob Myers who shares his fondest moments with Jerry West, not just working with him in Golden State but also how kind and caring Jerry was when Bob was an agent.

Steiny and Evan continue their conversation on remembering Jerry West but also get into how many generational talents there have been over the years in sports. Steiny asks what sports heaven is like for fans? Evan wants to know what hell would be.

Steiny and Evan take calls from listeners sharing their stories and their thoughts of Jerry West and how he impacted the sport of basketball. Steiny describes how Jerry impacted GENERATIONS as he was one of the biggest contributors despite not being as successful as a player.

Steiny and Evan (filling in for Guru) remember the late, great Jerry West. His time with the Lakers and the NBA as a player was impactful, but Steiny & Evan remember his contributions to the game of basketball as a WHOLE.

Steiny regales us with tales of his bougie friends who we'll never meet and won't associate with us. Steiny is IN. Plus, Guru comes out firing about his home construction and why Klay Thompson might not be around next season. Steiny shoots him down. So did the 49ers with Brandon Aiyuk's contract asks. It's all great.

Hour 1 - Steiny & Guru catch up to start the show because East Coast Steiny makes his triumphant return. He's looked himself in the mirror and so has Guru... for very different reasons.

Hour 2 - Steiny & Guru try to determine whose future is the most solid on their team: Brandon Aiyuk, Klay Thompson, or Blake Snell.

Hour 3 - Steiny & Guru try to determine the landing locations for Klay Thompson and potentially Brandon Aiyuk if they decide they want out. Klay is more simple: Where is the BEST place for him? The boys disagree, because Klay actually has options.

Hour 4 - Steiny & Guru go at it about what is exciting in postseason scenarios. Is it barely getting in with no hopes of making a run? That's what the Warriors went into and it left us feeling empty. How do you set up a season for success? Giants ain't it right now.

Steiny & Guru wonder which possibility is more likely to come to fruition: Klay leaving and Aiyuk staying, Klay staying an Aiyuk leaving, both staying, or both leaving.
