Who were they?

 

People seeking out Purpose.

 

They found it. 

 

It has has a name: Jesus

What are the characteristics of someone who is wise? 

 

Angela Duckworth wrote a book on this. 

 

She summed it up with one word.

 

GRIT

 

Her formula for grit is this. 

 

Talent x Effort = Skill. (Effort is GRIT)

 

Skill x Effort = Achievement (Wisdom)

 

That’s why together we will be cultivating Grit throughout this month by studying the wisemen in the Christmas story and other people in the Bible who demonstrated wisdom aka GRIT.
