How do you know if you are on the right path?

 

The Wisemen had the star to guide them.

 

Our guide are the Fruits of the Spirit. 

 

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, ad self control.

 

Are you showing these fruits in your life? 

 

Do you feel at peace? 

 

Do you have patience for those around you, those that disagree with you? 

 

Take time today. This week and the rest of the year to examine your life and see if these fruits are being lived out in all areas of your life. 

 

If you are lacking in one area. That is okay. Start a new journey! 

 

Thats the joy of the gift of today. You get to start again.

Thats how long it took the Wisemen to reach Jerusalem from Babylon to find Jesus.

 

The Journey home was just as long. Just as dangerous.

 

We learned this from a previous book in the Bible from the Old Testament Ezra 7:8-9.

 

No matter where you find yourself. Find JOY in the JOurneY.

 

It’s there. Don’t miss it. 

 

The challenge for today. 

 

Don’t stop. Don’t quit. Fight, Finish, and Remain faithful until the end. 

 

In other words. Don’t quit before the miracle.

How did the Wisemen respond when they finally found Jesus? 

 

They worshipped Him! 

 

They were overcome! 

 

So much so they fell to their knees. 

 

Today I challenge you to worship Jesus in your way no matter where you are in you story with Jesus. 

 

You can sing. You can dance. You can write. You can sit in silence. You can close your eyes. 

 

I challenge you to just take 30 seconds and acknowledge Jesus. 

 

The real reason we celebrate Christmas. 

 

Just say Thank you Jesus.

Serve, Give, and Love like you never have before during this Christmas season.

Use your talents to serve someone you know that has a need and you have the resources and talents to meet that need.

 

Love those in your home by being Patient, Present, and Playful throughout the entire week in al the small moments that we take for granted so often.

Radical Relationship

 

That is what I believe God is wanting from  us in this season. 

 

No more country club church. 

 

A relationship with Jesus was supposed to lead to a radical lifestyle.

 

I don’t mean say a prayer, or go to church, or repost a Bible verse. That’s easy. 

 

The wiseman packed up there things and traveled across the country for 4 months. That was dangerous! That was radical!
