We are protesting victims of hate crime. We are protesting police violence against innocents. We stand with the black community.
While most entertainment based podcast went to a blackout format, this podcast is about pedagogy. This podcast is about changing the classroom narrative, not just for students to learn a new language, but also for students to find a voice. This podcast is also about educating educators so that we become part of the solution, not part of the problem.
In this spirit, during this episode, we discuss the inclusion of culture (or is it Culture?) in the language classroom, and how it relates to social justice in the classroom. We also share sources for educators to discover and further educate themselves.
Feel free to reach out and share some of your go to resources so that we can pass them on to our audience.
