Munira Adenwalla is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist of 25+ years specializing in sensory processing and thinking out-of-the-box to support parents and teachers with neurodivergent kids
As an unschooling mum and single parent, Munira blends her professional expertise with her lived experience in a neurodivergent family. Munira advocates for listening to and honoring children’s inner wisdom, and for empowering parents to follow their gut instinct because they know their child best.
Munira is the creator of the Foundations for Writing program, which helps parents develop and support their child's underlying sensory and motor skills for writing, using the No Writing Way(TM). She also provides 1:1 parent consultations, workshops, and is writing a book to help kids write.
Outside of work, Munira finds joy in foodie adventures, being in nature with her son, travelling and cat sitting. She also loves seeing the world through children's eyes.
