Stephanie Williams is a comic book writer and creative producer known for her vibrant, character-driven storytelling and commitment to expanding representation within the industry. She has written for major publishers including DC and Marvel Comics, contributing to titles such as Nubia & the Amazons and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. A co-founder of the platform Black Women in Comics Collective, Williams has also been a leading voice in advocating for diversity and inclusion in comics. Her work often blends action, humor, and emotional depth while centering underrepresented heroes, helping shape a more inclusive future for the medium.

X-Men fans will know her for writing stories like X-Men Unlimited Infinity Comic, where she explored character-driven arcs within the Krakoan era, Marvel’s Voices: Legacy and Marvel Voices: Pride, Spider-Verse Unlimited and Spider-Man Unlimited Infinity Comic.

She is currently writing the new Street Sharks revival for IDW Publishing and just wrapped the simply awesome Roots of Madness, inspired by the life of Madame CJ Walker. You can connect with her on Instagram, Bluesky and Threads.
