Today I’m joined by Niti Nadarajah, a senior in-house lawyer working in Melbourne. But more than being a lawyer, Niti is also a woman, a mother and a human being.
Niti has become an advocate for authenticity and vulnerability, mental health issues and DEI at her workplace and online and it is this aspect of Niti’s many superpowers that I focus on in this interview.
Yes, doing law differently is about new business models, pricing, customer centricity and so many more things we often talk about, but it is just as much about authentic leadership, stepping out from behind the title and showing our authentic, human selves.
As we hear from Niti, when we do that – the benefits continue to flow not just to ourselves but also to our leadership, teams and businesses too.
Thank you once again to Legally Yours and LawCPD for sponsoring this episode and making it possible for me to keep bringing these episodes to you.
Trigger warning: Niti and I discuss pregnancy loss in this episode.
Niti is a senior in-house lawyer working in Melbourne. But more than being a lawyer, Niti is also a woman, a mother and a human being. As she has grown into her career and life has thrown challenges at her, including the juggle of motherhood, Niti has become an advocate for authenticity and vulnerability, mental health issues and DEI at her workplace, on LinkedIn and more broadly. She is passionate about leadership that demonstrates empathy and courage, kindness and vulnerability and about helping others find their courageous wonderful selves in what can at times be a precarious world.
