As an exhausted, injury-ravaged Derby County sink into the bottom three, Chris, Cutch and Tom attempt to keep the faith in discussing whether the Rams can pull themselves out of trouble. We analyse the damaging defeat away at Cardiff City and the key points which caused the 2-1 defeat, before addressing the growing unrest over Paul Warne's position - and how bad results may have to be before David Clowes has not choice but to act.

An eighth league defeat in 11 games sees the Rams continue to tumble downwards in the Championship, leaving the Rams squarely in the relegation dogfight we'd all hoped we were just about good enough to avoid.

Chris is joined by Phil Hile and Chris Smith to rue the missed chances and intervention of the crossbar against Watford, along with more alarming defending and lack of goal threat. We say goodbye, sweet prince to Tawanda Chirewa (we hardly knew ye), discuss Paul Warne's team selection for the FA Cup exit at Leyton Orient, and hope/pray that incoming 'striking Viking' Lars-Jorgen Salvesen can provide the firepower to steer Derby away from trouble.

Two more defeats on the road see Derby County start 2025 as they finished 2024 - with very little to cheer about away from home. Chris, Cutch and Tom look back on a forgettable trip to Ashton Gate and the 1-0 loss against Bristol City, and ponder whether the starting XI is a side capable of avoiding relegation.
