Dancing With The Newport Stars is Friday and Saturday night.  Our next dancers to come on the podcast are (star) Aaron Cherry and (pro) Holly Noyes.  We talk about Aaron feeling comfortable on stages, after growing up singing, dancing and acting on the Newport Opera House Stage.  Holly is new to our "pro" cast, but has been teaching dance for around 2 decades.  We talk about them learning the dance, not getting Covid, the "death drop" and more.

Kevin Onnela is here as he tells the story about him buying the cow picture (did he or did he not screw up?), learning how to apologize correctly, microaggressions that annoy people, Jersey Mikes, ATV's on the road, concessions in government, and more.

Chief Wilmot and Aggie Proper are here just one week away from Dancing With The Newport Stars.  Aggie's task this year is to get the chief ready to dance.  We talk about learning the dance, they couple are ready for it, how the show goes, what to expect and more. 

We also talk police, after Aggie had to leave.  Brent discusses working with other outside police agencies, internet / phone saftey, are your text messages ever really gone and more.

Our second couple is here on the podcast for Dancing With The Newport Stars.  Amanda Merrigan and John Proper talk about the show, learning the moves, John's first time being a "pro", Amanda's first thought when asked to perform, does her years of singing help her with the dance, and lots more.

Sgt Tim Puchtler from the Sunapee PD is here with 3 10th grade students from Sunapee High School, David Flater, Sophie Bourque and Jenna Caron.  We talk about Alcohol Awareness Month and Week, what the students learned about underage drinking, driving the simulator, how fast accidents can happen, the movie they are working on and more.

Dancing With The Newport Stars is back this year.  I will be having a series of the dancers on the podcast.  Our first couple is Brandi Hurd and Steve Patten.  Brandi works at Universal Physical Therapy in Newport and is paired with returning pro Steve Patten.  We talk about their dance, which is a fusion of two different styles, what to expect for the show, tickets are still available, how Covid changed the practicing, Brandi learning the moves, and much more.
