Kevin Onnela is on again this week with special returning guest - Derek Tremblay.  Derek is the headmaster of Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee.  We talk Covid 19, remote learning, how parents feel about returning to school in the fall, the State's involvement in dictating what happens at the school, and more.  Plus we discuss at length the race issues in the United States, the teacher in Vermont on paid administrative leave after a Black Lives Matters post on Facebook, how do you discuss what is happening in the world with children, classism Vs racism, and lots more.

Wayne and Eddie are on this week from the Car Nutz Car Club and we talk about their first, official, cruise night of the year.  It's 99.9% sure that they will be having their first cruise on Monday July 13th in the Sugar River Bank back parking lot, on Main Street in Newport.  governor Chris Sununu called Wayne last week to discuss the cruise and pointed Wayne in the right direction.  So if all goes as planned, the Car Nutz will be having Cruise Nights on July 13th, 20th, 27th, Aug 3rd and 10th.  We talk about how much work goes into putting on events, insurance liabilities, and you can't just put on a car show at your house.  We talked about businesses being open, vacation spots and how that's gonna work, and lots more.

Leigh Stocker from Summercrest zoomed on this week to talk about the construction project moving forward, a couple new residents moved in to Summercrest recently, how that process works, just because the world is different with Covid 19 doesn't mean that people don't still need care, and lots more.

Ray Gagnon is zooming in from his house this week, as the world is slowly returning to work, life and play...in it's own little way.  We talk about the Stevens High School graduation this past weekend, having trees removed at his house, filings to run for Sullivan County Commissioner  and then realizing that he is no longer a registered Democrat, forgetting to wear a mask while taking a selfie, the local House and Senate races, and lots more.

Newport Police Chief Brent Wilmot is on this week discussing Newport High School's graduation on Wednesday, the traffic jam, fireworks at graduation, and more.  In the state of our society these days, I tell Brent that Paw Patrol was rumored to be canceled because Chase is a police dog & protestors want the show off the air because it glorifies police.  Brent gives his take on defunding police departments, the roles of police, minimum requirements to become a police officer, training of police in NH and elsewhere, mental health, and other police related topics.  We also discuss the stay at home order, losing keys, Brent being on Northwoods Law recently and lots more.  Apologies to all for his improper use of grammar at certain points.

PJ Lovely is on discussing opening up Day Camp for the kids, restrictions, pods of 10, what day camp will look like this year and more. Plus Boot Camp is going to starting soon and we talk about how things plan on going. The town forest has been busy this year with disk golf and we discuss the sport.
