Ray Gagnon is in studio talking about the Claremont Fall Festival this past weekend, the event that didn't happen at the Elks for the Sullivan County Republicans, the roll of the County Democrats and Republicans, President Trump, Claremont city elections and much more.

Newport's Charles Rataj is in studio this week as Chief Burroughs is on vacation. Charles talks about the Oak Street Bridge in North Newport opening soon, coffee with a cop at McDonalds this past week, stolen trailers found and recovered, the new program to help children recover from events - ACER - working with Claremont PD, TLC, TPN and Newport PD, homecoming parade & bonfire, and much more.

PJ Lovely is back in studio from the Newport Recreation Department after missing last week's broadcast. PJ took the day off and went hiking with his son Gavin who will be leaving for boot camp soon. We talk hiking the AT and also PJ's beginner hiking trips that the Rec Center is doing Sundays this fall. We talk about the return on Kids Zone, how fall sports are doing, and how Newport looks for their homecoming football game this weekend. Also the Corbin Covered Bridge Festival is Saturday Oct 12th and the Rec Dept will be hosting a Covered Bridge 4k race to kick off the festival.

Joe Osgood is in talking about the bitter sweet B-17 plane experience.  After the horrific B-17 plane crash this past week, Joe has a unique point of view regarding the accident in CT.  He also shared his exciting experience riding in a B-17 in Keene recently and talked about the once in a lifetime experience.  He also talked about the other bittersweet experience with the Jesus Revival that WCNL put on.  Joe and Elaine loved the Jesus Revival on the Town Common on September 28th, but this ended up being the last time he got to see his old friend Jim Hill as Pastor Jim passed away hours after performing that day.  It's a week of ups and downs for Joe and we discuss them all.

Kerry Rochford Hague is in studio talking about the Crop Hunger Walk in Newport on Sunday Oct 6th, register at 12:30, walk starts at 1pm. Walkers can walk the rail trail to North Newport, walk around downtown, or walk around the Newport Town Common. Money and food raised benefit the Newport Food Pantry.

Kevin Onnela is in studio. He and Debby had a great weekend with their barn party last weekend. Kevin explains how he got shot in the head with fireworks this weekend, leaving the large red scar on his head. He talks about how much money he raised for St Judes this weekend and thanked everyone who donated and came. We talked politics, trash / dumps, getting a parking ticket in Concord, the fattest people in the world, and lots more.

Wayne and Eddie are in studio talking about animals, pets, Wayne's dogs, my cats, and does Ed like dogs? Wayne is looking to go to a car show this weekend in Weathersfield. We talk about other car shows in New Hampshire.

Chief Chase from Claremont PD is in studio.  Claremont had a great weekend last weekend with the Claremont Brewfest.  Mark said there were no issues with the Brewfest and the Kiwanis does a great job organizing this event.  Mark will be involved next weekend in the Fall Festival / Chili Cookoff in Claremont.  A past winner, he is gunning for first place for his chili again.  We talked about the joint press conference about bath salts last week, how the drug effects people, what the penalty is now being caught with it and more.  Also, we talked vaping in schools.

We had Joe on yesterday, and we talked about the very cool plane ride he was going to do Thursday afternoon. Joe called in this morning to talk about how awesome the ride was in the WWII era B-17 plane was. He loved it. He talked about the plane, what he experienced, where he got to sit, the history of the plane and more. The B-17 is in Keene Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week. Spectators can see for free, and also pay to go for a ride down at the Keene Airport.
