NHSCOT Executive Director Terri Wiltse calls in to talk about the NH Highland Games Sept 21 - 23. Terri discusses all the new events, the music, tastings, food, vendors, Clans, and lots of fun.  This event brings over 30,000 people to NH each year!

Kevin Onnela is back from his trip that he and Debby went on out west. He talks about their huge fundraising benefit ride for St Jude's Children's Hospital, how much money they raised (over $20,000 personally) and how much the ride itself raised (close to 1 Million bucks!) He rode with country music star Joe Diffie and didn't know it, got to have a ton of fun, and talks about the ride itself. We also talk about the Judge Kavanaugh stuff still going on, innocent until proven guilty, and more. Plus someone walks in at the end and Kevin had to usher him out off the air.

Don Hill from the Springfield 250th committee is in once again talking about the Springfield 250th. He recaps the success of the silent auction and the golf tournament. Don looks ahead to the next event this month, the final concert for the year at the Springfield Meeting House. Also the 250th wagon will stay out at the Post Office until October now because it's been so successful in selling 250th merch.

Maggie Monroe-Cassell from TLC Family Resource Center is in studio talking about the grand opening of their Recovery Center in Claremont, located at 1 Pleasant Street. It's been open for a couple months, but the grand opening is this week. We also talk about their fun 5K happening this weekend in Cornish. The Newport Tigers enter the game 0-2 Vs the defending state champs, as Campbell has a 2-0 record at the start of the game. the Cougars come out fighting at first and don't let up, moving to 3-0 as Newport falls 0-3.
