Good news is...our local governmental departments and hospitals ARE ready and execute training regularly to prepare for situations.

Dawn Ranney, Executive Director of the  United Way of Sullivan County  is in studio talking about their Ruger Golf Tournament this weekend in Newport.  It's one of their biggest fundraisers of the year.  There is still time to enter to play if interested.  Also Dawn talks about the United Way campaign this year, raising money to fund the non-profit organization.  And finally we discuss Free Coat Friday and the Coats For The Community drive each year.  This year's Free Coat Fridays will be happening in Mid to Late October.
