But before that, Leyla debates meeting a guy who wants to stay in the burbs' while Josh releases a manifesto against match.com and the world's clumsiest UX design.

Leyla spent 30 seconds stalking an ex on Instagram and decided the meaning of what she found is that she'll most assuredly die alone. We spend a chunk of the show digging her out of that funk and explain why it's so much better to travel alone then with a partner. Of course we dissect some of Josh's latest dating app matches and their cryptic expenditures of beans. Yes beans. Seriously, Coffee Meets Bagel. What are you doing to us? And finally, some encouragement to show your body some love by showing your body!

What's the ideal distance from your own age for a partner? In this episode, Josh robs the cradle while Leyla robs the grave and we report our findings. Other key notes for all you hopeless romantics out there: If you're over 30, keep the pics from your college football days out of your profile. And if a Hello Kitty forehead tattoo is truly the best way you feel you can express yourself, go for it! ...but maybe Bumble isn't the best app for you to find true love in this shallow world.

Also, Josh takes a shot at some apps he hasn't used too much and is freshly back to report on some dates he connected with on OkCupid and Coffee Meets Bagel. In short, ladies: Leave your damn puppy at home.

They lay it all out, no holds barred, sifting through the ever changing hell-scape that is "modern romance". They critique and review all aspects of dating culture, from app profiles, to communication, to actual dates. Doing it all in an upbeat space where two best friends of different identities can feel vulnerable enough to ask the scary questions we're all thinking and be free to risk looking stupid.
