"Oh, my gosh, these are so amazing. These make my legs and my thighs feel completely different. Wow. Is this what it's like when there's blood circulating? It was like I found another tool for adenomyosis. I even had that quick thought in my head of, did I just need compression socks this whole time?" — Emily, 8 Days Until Uterus Eviction Day

In This Episode:
Celebrating my usual Self-Care Sunday and happy to have one coming up before my surgery
It's so odd to be getting used to the pre-surgery anxiety and almost expecting it now.
Today in church, we talked about Stoicism and that's on my mind as I recorded this episode, Learn more about Stoicism here and here.
Shout-out to Sarah Mikutel who opened me up to Stoicism
I'm hoping to really be able to tap into these Stoicism and Radical Acceptance lessons for my upcoming "T"-Break (T" as in, "Tetrahydrocannabinol" or "THC")
A little about how cannabis/CBD/THC helps the pain and discomfort from Adenomyosis and Endometriosis
I got some compression socks after reading they would help immediately before and during recovery and I am loving them!
Change is scary. But exciting. Having a supportive community to talk openly with has been incredibly helpful.
I'm beginning to notice and plan for the things I won't be able to do once I'm in recovery mode, like yoga, choir, driving, even bending over!
