"I'd run the marathon!" 
Matches and podcasts are coming thick and fast at the moment, and it's sometimes hard to keep track of it all, so hopefully this episode can try to make sense of all the latest developments at the club. Well, we can but hope!

it's all old hands on deck this evening so we devote the opening of the cast to looking back at last weeks special with the two "D's" and address the major talking points.

Then it onto a monster part two where the boys dissect the recent performances against Gateshead, Hendon, Woking and Rochdale and analyse all the good, the bad and the ugly from those fixtures and the conundrum of our apparent midfield woes following the departure of Ashley Charles to Bromley. 
And then it's on to the prospects of our next 4 opponents as we travel to York on Saturday, then Southend, Solihull and Bromley at the Vale, weather and pitch permitting of course. 
Mark is holding court with wingmen Dave and Akhil and court jester Jez with all the hot takes to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

What a cracker of a special we have lined up for you here as we welcome board members Darren and Dominic to the cast to discuss all the hot topics surrounding the club at the moment, and no holds are barred. So let's get into it grapple fans!

It's Doms debut, so firstly he has to do the same as all of our newbies and tell us his Stones credentials, and to be fair, they're as long as your arm.
After that, it's down to business. Firstly we ask them what their assessment of the club is, in it's current state. Then we look back at the departure of Stu and Matt and how the club reacted to that. Following on we discover what the plan is next season. Do we remain part time, or is hybrid/full time a realistic possibility? After that it's looking at the recruitment process of our new management team, and how we got the man we wanted.

Several club stalwarts have moved on and we discuss the reasons and what it means for the future. Then the big one, what's happening with the new stadium, how close are we, what do we have to do to make it a reality, is there incoming investment to get it over the line? Following on from that, where does that leave us with Grosvenor Vale, and does it have a part to play moving forwards?

Suddenly we find ourselves looking down the table instead of up. How are we planning to survive in the National League if things go pear shaped and we find ourselves looking at the abyss. More rumours abound around the club. Is there an imminent takeover on the horizon? Looking at the squad, do we see wholesale changes, and how do we keep those we want to stay? 
The board are passionate about the club, and stress the absolute fact that when the time comes, and the baton gets passed to the new custodians to take it over, that they are the correct fit, that they get us, and just as importantly we get them. The legacy of the current board won't be handing it over to the wrong people. The board have a responsibility to the club and it's name, and on some occasions the fans also carry that responsibility as well, and would be well advised to remember that considering the negative effect it can have when we don't. 
And then when you think, "by Jove, that was a good cast!" Hillsy  closes out with some of the worse questions we've ever had the pain of listening to!

"Points are precious" 
It's been a difficult couple of weeks since the last episode, so here we are again to fill your ears with some joy and optimism! In this episode:

We meet debutant Rio before plunging into the reviews of the glorious draw away at the cuckoos, and the disappointing follow up at home to Maidenhead. Then we look forwards to the upcoming games at home to Gateshead, Hendon finally in the Trophy (venue TBC), and the away trips to Woking and Rochdale.

The team discuss our early impressions of the new MT, and considering the departure of certain players what direction do we see the squad going in the near future. 
We also consider the possibility of relegation. Are we at risk? 
And then in closing we discuss the changes off the pitch at the club, especially the departure of a club stalwart, and the sticky subject of the pitch.

"PING!!!!......(sigh).......PING!!!!" 
So tonight's episode was beset with a few issues, like not being able to get into the Captains Lounge or get our hands on our sophisticated recording equipment, but like the cape wearing troopers we are we soldiered on, and although it's by no means perfect, there's still plenty of good stuff to chew through the noise of the Social Club bar!

We've got a new MT, and the chaps discuss the arrival of "Nobby" and his team, and what we think it all means. 
Also there's been a few comings and goings since our last cast so we also cast our eyes over those movements before moving on to looking back at the games against Halifax and Aldershot.

Onto the previews and it does't get much bigger than the Cuckoos away, followed by the Magpies at home and then The Dons (annoyingly without a bird related nickname) in the eagerly awaited last 16 game in the Trophy. Oh, and The Robins away isn't that far away either. The games are coming thick and fast. 
Mark does his best to be head keeper at the Zoo this episode with Leo the Stat, Dave the Bus and River the Enigma trying hard to make themselves heard.

"What the hell is 'spudman'?" 
Well that's not a question we were expecting to ask this week. That and "who do you think the next Wealdstone manager is going to be?" either. 
Some might say it's been on the cards for a while, but it was still a bit of a shock to see our crown jewels finally being poached by a bigger fish in the football pool, but it's happened, and now we have the fall out to deal with.

Then we talk about the end of an era with the news that El Pres is stepping down from his position as Club President. He has left big shoes to fill. With more details coming through about the new stadium development we have a chat about what it all means.

There's fireworks in the air in this special edition of the cast when we welcome club legends of the amateur days Hugh Lyndsay and Charlie Townsend into the infamous Captains Lounge for a good old natter about the 60's.

Let's not mention someone literally smashing the FA Amateur Cup, or the fallout with Kingstonian for allegedly poaching their best player but nobody can forget that Stevenage game surely? Also how many players can claim to have represented England, and also have played against them too?
