Self-righteous people are the first to criticize others. They stand on their moral high ground, pointing down at others who are not as “good” as them. But is this the attitude God wants us to have? Hardly! God desires self-righteous people to realize that they’re as guilty as the people they look down on! He wants them to realize how patient He has been with them, so they can be patient with others.
