Stop the Gridlock in Congress

The Kock Bros and Tea Party are plotting to take over our Democracy in the 2014 Elections. It's do or die for America as we know America today. I am dead serious!  We can not wait another day to act.  We must respond to the information set forth in this episode.  If we wait until the the 2014 elections are over, it will be too late to do anything.

This information was leaked to the British newspaper the Guardian. Ed Pilkington, chief correspondent for the Guardian U.S. broke the story on NPR with fresh air host Dave Davies in for Terry Gross.

According to a new report from Wealthinsight, there will be more than 9.5 million millionaires in this country by 2017 showing a growth rate of 68%. The amount they possess will increase by 83% to just under 40 Trillion dollars.  In 2012, total millionaires in the US was over 5.2 million possessing 21.6 Trillion dollars. In 2017, China is expected to have 2.3 million millionaires possessing 9.5 Trillion dollars, far less than the US. China may overtake the US in millionaires in 2035.  We welcome this millionaire explosion in the US.  But all this begs the question, is President Obama's fiscal policies top down or bottom up?

The Census Bureau revealed that the poverty rate remained stuck at 15% last year (2012) the same as the year before (2011) and some 2.5 percentage points higher than in 2007, reads a NY Times article, "The Measure of Our Poverty." by Eduardo Porter. Meanwhile the so-called "1%" of the population grew by 29%, the equivalent of a thousand new millionaires per day, over the President's first three years in office, according to theguardian.com November 1, 2012 article entitled "US has added 1.1m new millionaires under Obama,says study" by Dominic Rushe. With this explosion of millionaires under President Obama, we should not be arguing over whether or not to raise the minimum wage. I'm sorry!

The majority of voters for President Obama were White Americans, who make up about 73% of the total electorate.  African Americans make up 13% of the electorate, not enough to win any election. In 2008, 43% of the White electorate voted for Sen Obama.  In 2012, 39% of the White electorate voted for President Obama. Is there a historical pattern emerging? Despite 400 million raised by the billionaire koch Bros and used against Pres Obama, unemployment hoovering above 8%, a hostile gridlocked Congress, a stimulus package that increased the debt ceiling to it's highest ever and the lowest approval rating of his Presidency, he prevailed.  At every momentous historical break through African Americans have acheived in this country, White Americans have stood with, marched with or suffered and died side by side.  This is no exception.  43% of the 73% White electorate kept Pres Obama in office, a fact that keeps getting overlooked to White men loosing their mojo.

According to wealthinsight.com, 1.1 million new millionaires have been created since President Obama has been in Office.  Between 2009 and 2012, during and right after the worst economic downturn in the history of our country, since the great depression, millionaires are being created at an alarming rate.  As a matter of fact Wealthinsight predicts the creation of close to 500,000 millionaires in 2014 alone. By 2017, according to wealthinsight, which tracks millionaires and billionaires all over the world, we will have 9.5 million millionaires up from 5.2 million as of now. With 9.5 million millionaires in possession of 39 Trillion dollars, paying their fair share, we could.........(fill in the blank)

What does God have to say to racist white Christians? 1 John 4:20. Study conducted with over 20,000 mostly Christian participants, over a 50 year time span (since 1964 with the passing of the civil rights act) shows the more religious the group the more racist they are towards minorities and blacks. Oh, and did I mention...the Prez is black.  It's time to pray!!
