I experienced my first coding class back in high school from a web development elective. At that time I never thought I would pursue coding as a career, but I had no idea how immersive and fun it would become. Much of what has driven my career as a musician has now been the same driving force behind my pursuit of software development: creativity, and curiosity!

Trying to break into a new career at almost thirty years old can be daunting even in the best circumstances, let alone when you have a newborn child, but software development is something I've been interested in for several years. I love studying languages; before beginning my journey into the tech field I spent time as a foreign language instructor, and I have absolutely loved learning new programming languages. I look forward to being in a field where continual learning will give me the opportunity to always grow and challenge myself.

Renaissance man and first generation naturalized citizen. That just means I'm an analytical, problem-solving performer who's fluent in another language. Seeking opportunities that will allow me to grow, develop, and contribute within an organization. Preferably in software development, analyst, or accounting roles. I also have a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee and posses experience in the field of accounting and finance. As a performer, I act and do comedy. That allows me to be proficient in presenting and public speaking.

Olamide Oladinni graduated with Web Development Evening Cohort 12.

I am a software developer. I have a background in Adult Education and corporate training. Continuing education is a constant factor in my line of work. These same parallels I see frequently in coding. It is a challenge I've learned to embrace. I also have a great passion for music and history. Software development excites me about the potential things I can build. The potential to create something that can have a lasting effect on the world. Coding is creating the world we live in today I just want to do my part.

Army Soldier turned Residential Development Project Manager turned Software Engineer. Using technology everyday, I never actually sat down and thought about what makes it possible for me to actually use what is in my hands. As soon as I started learning how to code there was an instant connection. I may be new to development, but I am persistent in growing my knowledge at the fastest pace I can. I hope my skills as a leader, my experience working with small and large teams, my awareness of how important communication is, and my personality can bring value to any person or team I come across.

About me: Since I was a child I had a passion for technology. The first computer I had was Sinclair ZX81. That's where I started my journey on technology and my passion to learn more. When I was 13 the first programming language I did was BASIC.

After spending five years trying to climb the ladder working in Professional and Collegiate Sports, I fell in love with coding. Growing up in Small Town Northern Michigan I never would have guessed life would lead me to become a Dev in Nashville, but I sure am glad it did!

A unicorn! Born and raised in Nashville, I am an aspiring full-stack developer. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Nashville Software School. The creative aspect of coding, using logic to solve problems, and working on teams with my peers has been amazing! I look forward to taking everything I have learned to the workforce.

I'm a Chicagoland transplant, but Nashville has been my home for a decade. After several years working in artist royalties at a record label, I set my sights on a career change to tech when I realized that it was a field where I could put my love for problem-solving, collaboration, and logic to good use. I have high standards for myself and my work, and I'm excited to continue learning and improving upon my code.

I’ve been a small business entrepreneur for most of my working life, and always enjoyed the challenges it presents. Finding creative ways to please my customers, managing teams from all walks of life and bringing it all together to create a successful business is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. When I took a few months to learn how to code and write a custom CRM for my business, I was instantly in love. Software development is the language of creative problem solving I’d been searching for all along. Now I’m ready to forge a new career as a developer and leverage my business experience with my newly acquired skills.
