Grant Long played collegiately at Eastern Michigan and his jersey #43 was retired.

He was selected in the 2nd round of the 1988 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat in their first season of existence. Long played 15-seasons in the NBA in 1000+ games and scored over 9k points.

After retirement, Long entered the world broadcasting in the NBA which where this relationship started, in OKC.

Saturday Shorts in the Man Cave, installment #5

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, this episode was delayed (that's my poor excuse).

College football's regular season ended over the weekend.

Now, the coaching firing/hiring season begins and the transfer portal begins to receive a higher volume of entries.

The Texas Longhorns' Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson is the nation's top running back duo in college football.

Both played together for the final time at DKR Memorial Stadium. This tandem so far have combined for 6825 total yards of offense and 67 combined touchdowns in their Longhorn careers.

The conference title games begin later this week and Jeff Traylor is campaigning for the entire city of San Antonio and the entire fan base of UT-San Antonio to fill the Alamodome for the Conference USA title game.

And, those of us who are truly invested into college football and our beloved teams can sometimes get emotional like a certain South Carolina fan. She is a friend of the podcast, and her reaction while watching her 'Cocks upset Clemson at Clemson hit the feels for her.

*There remains a chance for Texas to accomplish a preseason goal of winning a Big 12 championship, but they'll need some help in the form of 1 loss by K-State and Oklahoma State.

We paid tribute to the Virginia Cavaliers football program and community.

There was some mild frustration due to the loss in Stillwater as Texas enters their bye week.

But, humor is everything. 

Tes wasn't bothered by the inadvertent exit by Steve Sarkisian and not singing the "Eyes of Texas" after the 41-34 loss to Oklahoma State.  

Quinn Ewers experienced what appears to be an outing which is attributed to youth, throwing 30 incompletions and interceptions (to which Tes produced the nickname, "Quinnterception"). 

The Aggies are struggling and rumors are flying about the transfer portal in addition to indefinite suspensions leading up to Texas A&M's date with Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss.

We paid tribute to Leslie Jordan, who recently passed away at age 67, "Well Shit"!

And, Prime Time wears out a reporter friend for wearing a "cheap" tie.
