There was some mild frustration due to the loss in Stillwater as Texas enters their bye week.

But, humor is everything. 

Tes wasn't bothered by the inadvertent exit by Steve Sarkisian and not singing the "Eyes of Texas" after the 41-34 loss to Oklahoma State.  

Quinn Ewers experienced what appears to be an outing which is attributed to youth, throwing 30 incompletions and interceptions (to which Tes produced the nickname, "Quinnterception"). 

The Aggies are struggling and rumors are flying about the transfer portal in addition to indefinite suspensions leading up to Texas A&M's date with Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss.

We paid tribute to Leslie Jordan, who recently passed away at age 67, "Well Shit"!

And, Prime Time wears out a reporter friend for wearing a "cheap" tie.

We end things with Tell Me Something Good.

The pride of Leander, TX, Paul Thompson was one of the best high school football talents from the Austin, TX area.

He committed and signed with Oklahoma to play quarterback. But, he was behind a Heisman Trophy winner, Jason White, and mentored a future Heisman Trophy winner in Sam Bradford.

During his 5th year senior season, PT suffered a loss to Texas in the Red River Rivalry. But, Thompson led the Sooners to the Big 12 Championship  and a trip to the Fiesta Bowl. That Fiesta Bowl was that thriller vs Boise State.

PT discussed his time at OU, the Cotton Bowl tunnel, the talents he played alongside, beating Texas, and his valued opinion on the current situation at OU and Texas. 

As well as, Quinn Ewers.

And, the 2006 lockerroom rap post Big 12 Championship win over Nebraska by Malcolm Kelly.

That was the worst loss OU has ever suffered vs Texas in the Red River Rivalry in Dallas.

The former Longhorns defensive tackle had A LOT to say in this episode.

So did the Longhorns. Especially about bringing the Golden Hat Trophy back to Austin for the 1st time since 2018.

The Sooners are perhaps the worst team OU has fielded vs Texas since the late 90s.

But, they were without their starting quarterback, Dillon Gabriel.

All is not well in Norman at the moment in Brent Venables' 1st season as head coach.

Texas is favored by 7, but in this series, expect the unexpected.

Keep in mind, OU leads this series in the 21st century, 16-7 (if you count the 2018 Big 12 title game).

Sooners' 1st year head coach, Brent Venables seems defeated and tired. 

The uniqueness of this game, the setting, the atmosphere, the tunnel, the split crowd, the hate, and the state fair.
