    Tornado Trackers, Storm Chasers

    • Jeff Magnum, Austin TX
  • Jeremy Hamann, Denver, CO
  • Gabe Cox, Jacksonville FL
  • Tornado Trackers was founded in May 2013 when three friends created a joint twitter account to keep friends and family updated on chases.

Since then, all three have worked together to maintain Tornado Trackers, both in the field and through social media, with the simple goal of sharing their enthusiasm for all things weather. At the heart of what they do lies a complete fascination with storms and a genuine excitement to be a part of the larger community of weather fanatics worldwide.

Their footage has been broadcast on many networks including ABC, NBC, CBS, The Weather Channel, CNN and The National Geographic. Was recently identified by WIRED magazine as one of the top storm chasers to follow on Twitter.

Mike Olbinski, Storm Chaser Photographer, Author of Storm Chaser and Emmy Winning Filmmaker

    • Mike Olbinski calls himself a storm-chasing wedding photographer, but filmmaker can also added to the title. He's based out of Phoenix, Arizona, and when he's not shooting weddings both here in the U.S. and internationally, he's chasing storms across the desert southwest and also the Central Plains. Apart from loving still photography of lightning, tornadoes and almost any kind of weather, Mike creates time-lapse films a few times a year. His work has been seen across the world, in commercials, documentaries, magazines and even Thor: The Dark World. He tries to maintain his sanity while doing this full-time and being a husband and father of three beautiful children.
