Cody Legebokoff was only 20 years old when he was arrested on November 27th, 2010 for the murder of 15 year old Loren Donn Leslie. It would later become clear that Loren was not his first victim, and the Country Boy Killer, as he would later be nicknamed in the press, would go on to be described as one of Canada's youngest serial killers.
At the beginning of this episode we talk a little about the Highway of Tears and the ongoing investigations into British Columbia's murdered and missing women and girls. Although this case is not related to those investigations, the locations associated with this case are geographically related so we thought it was worth mentioning.
