On our debut episode anchor host, Larry Rosen, and Storyfort co-founder and Director, Christian Winn, discuss how Storyfort fits within the larger scope of Treefort Music Fest. As Storyfort moves into its seventh year, Larry and Christian dive deep into Storyfort's humble beginnings, how it has evolved, and Storyfort's unique approach to readings, performances, panel discussions, art, culture, politics, and more. The conversation veers into what it means for artists and writers to shift focus at least partially away from their own work, as Winn has done over the years, in order to help bring others' voices to the stage. As well, Winn and Rosen dig into just how to define Storyfort within the literary, arts, and cultural scene of fast-growing Boise, Idaho, the Northwest, and far beyond. Welcome to Storyfort Presents: Voices of Treefort Music Fest. Enjoy!
