Story Time at the Roo Bus

Daniel just returned from Cave Fest at The Caverns, which brings us to talking a lot about some of our other local venues.  Could The Caverns eventually host a larger festival?  Is the sound finally better at The Mars?  Did Evan Bonnaroo meet Future Evan at St. Stephens?  Is Sharla going to clog on the show?  We answer these questions and much more, and also talk about the opening of our TOTEM scholarship for the upcoming year!

Brooklin returns this week as her and Daniel are out in the bus to go over their Hulaween schedules!  We catch up with what all she's been up to and talk about our plans down in Florida.  Sharla also crashes towards the end, where we'll talk about news about Roo's 2026 lineup and talk about some of our favorite horror movies.

We had a lot of friends at both Shaky Knees and Riot Fest in recent weeks, and we've got a big crew on to report back from them!  Sharla and Daniel are also on the back porch to talk about some of our other favorite city fests, and also a ton of cats make cameos at the end.

Sharla and Daniel are taking a chill episode with a drink in the backyard this week while everyone else is gone to Riot Fest and Shaky Knees!  We're talking about the Saxsquatch and Blink 182 shows in Huntsville, how we feel about 2025 now that we're three months removed, look ahead to what 2026 is going to look like, and have a few weekly picks as well!

Sharla has come up with the most insane game to play inside the bus this week, we're playing the "Hear Me Out Cake" game by picking the most outside the box acts we can think of to play Bonnaroo 2026.  We've also got Andrew back on this week to talk about what goes into keeping track of everything on the /r/Bonnaroo confirmation thread, as well as take a look at who is very possibly on the lineup next year.

Sharla and Daniel are back in the bus this week, and we've got a ton to cover!  We're talking the new Tame Impala and Sabrina Carpenter albums, Cherub's tour for their new album, and we've also got Chelsea and Matty on to get Daniel prepped for Hula!

We're all outside for the last big weekend of the Summer!  Sharla and Daniel hang out in front of the bus to talk about Tipper in Huntsville and follow up on Burning Man.  Also, Daniel takes the trip up to a secret location in Tennessee to visit with Lord Taco from the What Podcast and former Bonnaroovian of the Year Lindsey to talk about The Other Farm and what we're looking forward to at Roo in 2026.

This week we're doing a bit of traveling on the show!  Sharla and Daniel talk about all of our tips if you've ever thought about making the trek out for Burning Man, and our good buddy Sam talks about his recent trip to London to see Oasis.  This is also our first video episode, our Patreons get first dibs and then it comes to our Discord a few days later.  The full launch comes for everyone in a month or so!

Even though Bonnaroo 2025 was cut short, we’re bringing you the unforgettable moments we captured during our time on the Farm. In this first part of our Audio Postcards from the Farm series, Daniel shares unforgettable recordings with fellow Bonnaroovians, including the crew from Church Boners, Caleb from the Bonnaroo Yearbook, and many more friends we met at the legendary Monkey Bar.

We reminisce about our favorite moments from the Farm, talk about what fans are most excited to see at Bonnaroo 2026, and even dive into some of Sharla’s wild and hilarious Roo dreams.

Part two, featuring Sharla’s recordings, drops next week - don’t miss it!
