If only our technology was able to somehow upgrade the human software of the mind and teach us how to be better. Wait! Maybe the technology we need to truly turn this existence into heaven on Earth has been hidden in our past all along! The ancients had societies based on knowledge of self. I talk about a lot of controversial things on this show, but I think this is going to be one of the most challenging things to discuss because food is something all of us have such an emotional relationship with and it creates a barrier between us and truth. Eating meat is not something people do because it’s smart, we do it because we have 1) have to eat to survive and 2) have been trained to believe meat is just what humans needs. Just like the revival of natural hair and the draw towards general consciousness, racism has also made an interesting come back in the last few years. And it’s awakened feelings in us that sometimes I imagine are the same feelings I shared with my ancestors now long gone. Not that racism ever disappeared, but it’s been a while since we’ve seen this brand of racism. It’s robust. It’s that good old-fashioned 1950’s style racism. The character of Donald Trump’s surely emboldened some of these hateful voices. But do you ever feel like we’re being manipulated, to some extent?

How would you react if your boss suddenly came up to you, claimed they were on the phone with a police officer who says that you are the prime suspect of a theft?

Then what if, in request of this absent police officer, the manager is directed to detain you in the back room of your place of employment? What if the so-called police officer asks your manager to search you, would you let them? What would you say if you were asked to hand your cell phone and belongings over? Would you be okay with being subject to a strip search, conducted by your boss? How about if you were asked to get naked and jump up and down to shake loose the supposed stolen item? Hypothetically, how many of these absurd demands would you be willing to comply with? I’ll wait for your response…

Yeah, that’s what I thought, that shit sounds outrageous. Most people might go to the back room to try and sort out the situation, but nobody is going to give up their cell phone. They definitely aren’t going to get naked. At least, that’s what I thought. I also thought that if you were the manager, you may find it odd that the police were calling you, instead of just showing up. You’re probably wondering why I’m even saying all this?.... Because it actually happened.

In the late 1830s black Americans along with Indigenous Americans showed up in what would be later called, Tulsa Oklahoma. Though, amidst racial violence motivated by colonist takeover, the land was settled and by the early 1900s the newly freed slaves made it into what some call, Wakanda before there was such a thing.
