Reject both deism and humanism. Seek to work with those who embrace a biblical worldview and realize that, in and of themselves, they cannot live in reality. Hard work, overcoming obstacles, and conquering diversity, while admirable and necessary, are not sufficient to truly succeed in life. Wise people realize that to live in reality requires divine intervention, divine empowerment, and divine direction in every area of life. Only people who are doing God’s will according to God’s ways can build enduringly successful organizations. Such people enjoy the freedom of the healed beggar; that is, they live in reality

Create an organizational culture that faithfully supports and invests in the families of workers and associates. Be diligent to hire workers with biblically healthy families or those whom you can train to practice a biblical view of family. Recognize that any worker who does not personally practice biblical values and principles in his or her family life will be unable to work at full potential and therefore, in some way, will be a detriment to the organization. Some examples of common practices today that are not aligned with a biblical worldview of family are adultery, abortion, homosexuality, and cohabitation. Also, be very careful with divorced people. As a maxim, divorce is inconsistent with a biblical worldview except for specific situations outlined in Scripture.

The key to human advancement is alignment with the will and ways of God. Therefore to build healthy growing organizations, management must build with workers who are each doing what he or she is called to do in accordance with a biblical worldview. And management must set a supportive context that enables the workers to reach their potential, which then facilitates human advancement. To do this, management must make the Bible the handbook of their organizational philosophy, values, principles, and practices. Everything in the organization must be grounded in and aligned with the Bible.

To facilitate this reality in your organization, management must be committed to training and discipleship as tools to facilitate learning and practicing these principles.
