Social media alone is not a marketing strategy! There are other ways that you should be using to market your business and reach potential clients and customers. So today, let's talk blogging. • The Power of Networking

Networking is an essential part of running a business and there are some amazing benefits that you can get simply by meeting new people.  I don’t like meeting new people, but being in the District Bliss networking group, has really helped my business to grow. Thanks to this group, when I’m not around, my name is still being referred. As a result, I’ve seen my business grow without as much effort on my part (comparatively speaking). Learn what successful networking looks like and what it can do for your business.

  • Hot Seat with Sprout Creative

In our Hot Seat episodes, I'm talking to real business owners and taking a deep dive into their business struggles. In this episode, I'm talking with Kristina Kury, owner of Sprout Creative who has been struggling with hiring help and taking time away from her clients to do the CEO work to help grow her business.

Sprout Creative is a marketing agency whose mission is to turn your marketing into a manageable, automated, stress-free marketing machine. Kristina realized the passion small business owners had was being stunted by the lack of time, understanding, and commitment to their business marketing needs. Their expertise lies in their business and supporting that dream. Marketing is overwhelming, laborious, and confusing. She decided it was time to jump in with them and help build a cohesive marketing plan to get them back to making their dreams shine so they can affect positive change. She has over 10 years of experience in the marketing industry with brands such as The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Wolfgang Puck, and Sky Zone.

  • Manifesting Your Goals

It's pretty much the time of year where you're thinking about what comes next in your business. I'm a big believer in visualization and positive affirmations but because this is also about strategy, manifesting goals means also strategizing and action planning!

In this week's episode, I'm breaking down how to manifest goals in ways that work.

  • Getting Off the Path to Burnout

I’m actually not a big fan of “hustle” culture. It creates this idea that we always have to be on the move to succeed. That we can never rest because that’s setting ourselves up for failure or just plain lazy. That’s simply not true! Resting is essential in your business (and personal life). Without it, you’re headed on the road to burn out fast! And who wants that?! When you’ve reached that stage, you’ll likely see your whole business grind to a halt as your body tells you enough or your stress levels have you wanting to say F you to everybody.

In this week's episode, I’m talking about how to prevent burnout in your business and ways you can rest and recharge.

  • Pricing Your Worth

Charge your worth!! It can sound harsh, but you don’t owe anyone an explanation of why your prices are your prices. Creatives in any industry deserve to be paid for their time and talents! Don’t let anyone try to undervalue you. But the first step is making sure you don’t undervalue yourself.

This week I'm going over how to determine your pricing to make sure you're charging your worth! Are you priced where you should be? I’m talking about the things you should be thinking about when determining your pricing structure.

We as women are constantly trying to figure out how to be more productive given all the things we manage and have to do on a day-to-day basis. But productivity is a relative term. • Business Strategist vs. Business Coach

One of the reasons my clients are stressed and burnt out is because they have no systems and strategies in place for their business. We often back into creating systems as a result of business picking up and things starting to get lost in the process. Here’s the thing though - if you don’t have systems and strategies in place, you’ll actually end up costing yourself money in the form of client dissatisfaction and overwhelm at taking over new clients.

Most people confuse the two but business strategists and business coaches are different and serve different needs in your business. When I decided to pivot into serving businesswomen, I purposely chose to work as a strategist instead of a coach. Outside of there being A LOT of business coaches out there, I know that my strengths lie in planning. What I’m best at is helping others create plans to work towards achieving goals. While most coaching deals with mindsets (and mindset is important), over in these parts we’re getting to work!

  • Be the CEO Your Business Needs

One important thing I had to learn in my business is that there’s a difference between working IN your business and ON your business. It can be hard to take yourself out of the everyday things that keep a business going but I’ve found that having a weekly CEO day gives me the time to do that big picture work.

In this episode, I'm going over what it means to work ON your business and not just simply IN it. Being the CEO of your business means checking in on business goals, creating action plans for future launches, reviewing financial goals, bouncing ideas off business besties, and investing in workshops or learning that can help you grow.

Having CEO days are super important. It’s important to get out of the day-to-day managing of your business and spend time investing in the thing that will grow it. Do you have a CEO day?
