  • 9. A Pansexual Human Bro
Today’s episode is about my growth and development as a sexual being. Throughout my life I have experienced many forms of sexual shame, pleasure, uncomfortability, uncertainty, and expectations. The ways I have approached sex and relationships have been informed by these experiences, and I am now starting to unpack these experiences and identify how they have shaped my understanding of myself. I know that there is no definite label to describe the many ways we interact with each other, but as I strip away labels that no longer suite me, I gain clarity in how I plan to live authentically moving forward. Thank you so much for listening. SEXUALITY AFFIRMATIONS @ (33:33) As always, find me @wesonly1 on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Venmo, and Ca$happ

  • 8. A Self-Awareness Advocate
Being aware of what you do and how you think is a lot harder than it seems. Today, I talk about how questioning some of the foundational assumptions that I used to live my life based on, has led me to a deeper understanding of who I truly am and what I want and need to thrive and be happy in this world. Also, I want to sincerely thank you for listening and trusting my voice to be with your ears for a little while today. I would love for this podcast to lead to conversation and connection amongst fellow kindrid souls. I am on a journey of self-discovery and self-mastery, which is now how I basically plan to live my entire life, and I’m excited to share my experiences and thoughts about what I am observing as I unlearn the conditioning and programming of our culture and discover the true power of human ingenuity, passion, connection, and creativity. • 7. An Embodied Connector
2021* This week we talk about 2021 so far, my road trip and it’s Genesis, the ways I think too much and, oh yeah and I only mentioned the first of the Four Agreements: 1. Be impeccable with your word. 2. Don’t take anything personally. 3. Don’t make assumptions. 4. Always do your best. I’m super excited to be putting out the podcast each week moving forward and I would love to hear some feedback and to have some new guests on too! • 6. Be the Teacher and the Student (with Abby)

Abby Shey and I went to high school together back in the day in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and we both find ourselves back in our hometown during this unprecedented time. We have had a distant social media friendship since high school, but honestly, now we're closer than we ever were back in our teen years! She's a true gem.

Today we talk about our time teaching English abroad, our frustration with the USA and the education system we were raised in, and how we're finding our paths in this crazy world. This was such a fun conversation and Abby will certainly be back for another episode in the future. (if she would like to)

  • 5. living authentically within capitalism (with David)

David is an actor, a human being, and an absolute delight to converse with. Today we talk about authenticity, waking up to the reality of reality, the downfalls of capitalism, and our experience with educational institutions.

Critiquing capitalism is kinda becoming a theme of the podcast these days, and I imagine it will continue to be because capitalism fucking sucks. Anywayyyyy enjoy this episode!

  • 2. Vulnerability is a skill/strength (Solocast)
Solocast. I have resistance to recording this. That shows me that this is important. I must wield the power of choice in the places where I feel the most friction. Sharing my perspective and my voice with others feels amazing to do, but I get ‘stage fright’ mixed with procrastination habits and days go by without stepping up to the plate for some good ole fashioned VULNERABILITY :) . So, Hello, dear listener I’m glad you are here. Intentional vulnerability can open doors to channels of communication that could not be opened any other way. When a friend shares a wound or a weakness with us, it automatically makes us feel closer to them, even if we don’t realize it. I think the same goes for when we shine a light on our internal and personal vulnerabilities, the ones we may only know the effects of, and not the source. This can help deepen our self love, self understanding, and self acceptance . . Follow me on Instagram/Twitter @wesonly1. Wes Carlson on YouTube and Facebook.
