Eighteen years after the original, "SLC Punk 2" attempts to capitalize on the poor judgement of the few viewers who might still consider the first film a classic. Dandy Fop Goth and steampunk enthusiast Ross embarks on a journey of pedestrian proportions when he is inexplicably dumped by young Lady Gaga. This is by a large margin our worst film of the year, worst film of the podcast so far and every bit as obnoxious and vapid as the title would suggest. Enjoy listening to us suffer for your amusement and be advised that spoiling this film...is our philanthropic gift to the world.

This week we discuss the Jim Jarmusch film "Dead Man" starring Australia's least favorite dog owner Johnny Depp. After accidentally murdering the son of a wealthy and important man, meek accountant William Blake is mistaken for the renowned poet and author of the same name by a Native American named "Nobody". Things get weird, people get cannibalized and Iggy Pop makes a guest appearance as the worst fear of a fundamentalist soccer mom in a Target bathroom. Contains 100% Daily allowance of spoilers.

This week we mostly avoid discussing "Hush" in favor of talking about our favorite horror movies, crushes on Mary Elizabeth Winstead and how modern trailers ruin movies. Only moderate spoilers.

Bonus Episode: This is our first ever series discussion and it's only fitting that we discuss one of the most acclaimed streaming television series to date. Twelve year old Will Byers mysteriously disappears from an Indiana town which sets in motion a bizarre series of events. Please heed the spoiler warning on this one and watch the series first!!

We satiate Kevin's nostalgia hard-on by discussing "Over the Top". Sylvester Stallone plays arm wrestling truck driver Lincoln Hawk who like most dead beat dads only wants to earn the respect of the son he's neglected for over a decade by winning a fake sports competition. There, it's already been spoiled so now all you have to do is take a shot every time one of us makes an awful joke using the movie title.

The film this week is the independent film "Primer". The story focuses primarily on two engineers who while pursuing other exploits accidentally create a time machine. I'd warn of spoilers but I'm not sure any of us understood the film well enough to spoil it.

Bonus Episode: We break from formula to watch a movie which is not yet available to stream but was just released on Blu-Ray. This wound up being our favorite movie of 2016 so far so if you have not seen it please do so before listening!! This episode like all others contains full spoilers and none of us want to be responsible for spoiling this one.
