This time, as part of our scheme to invest in underfunded British elite marathon runners, we have a conversation with 2.31 marathoner Tish Jones. This is also an opportunity to welcome Tish to the coaching team at The Milestone Pursuit as a strength and conditioning coach, and a running coach. As a result, we spent 45 minutes or so talking about all manner of things in relation to running, with a focus on injury, the role of cross-training, (over)loading, strength work and a few other tangents.
Tish has lots to offer in support of athletes of all abilities, and her passion for understanding the body, it's stresses and it's power really comes through in this really interesting conversation.
