Study Music Podcasts

On this episode we’re announcing a new show debuting this week on the SM network: Aesop’s Table, with host Black Aesop, rapper & vocalist known for his work with the west coast hip hop group Living Legends, as well as notable collaborations with Atmosphere and others. Also an avid cook in his time away from music, Aesop decided to bridge the two loves and put them together. On season 1 of Aesop’s Table, he sits down with a number of artists who have inspired, lent a hand or collaborated with him over his 20 year career. On each episode you’ll find Aesop and guests breaking bread and sharing stories over some of his favorite foods. #AesopsTable #Aesops #Table #Music #Food

Back in the early days of SM, a bunch of the guys from The Understudies Crew used to send these little tapes back and forth filled with little collections of sixteen bar verses, recorded for batting practice, to keep a sharp tongue so to speak. The routine was sparked by Understudies contributor Husayn Jay, a notably proficient creator, releasing only a small fraction of his countless recordings. Sometimes they found their way onto the interwebs, many remained private, but it sparked the rest of the crew to follow suit. Here’s one of them. Gee. kicking sixteens off the head with a few classic beats selected by CTZN. The duo’s latest release is ‘The Last Days EP’, available now on all streaming platforms. @GeeRaps @CTZNofficial @studymusicgroup
