Yeshua’s 12 disciples followed Him not fully knowing or understanding they had been recruited personally by Him into the Kingdom of Heaven Boot Camp to be trained and prepared for Kingdom warfare as Kingdom citizens. For several months, they had followed Yeshua, listening to the messages He taught and preached to them and the masses. They saw firsthand the miraculous demonstrations of the power of the Holy Spirit manifesting through Yeshua. Now, they were about to be sent out to demonstrate the spiritual warfare and lifestyle they had been trained and prepared for. Yeshua expresses His expectations and instructs His disciples to follow His instructions and to do warfare as they were trained in Boot Camp. Yeshua expects His disciples, then and now, to be prepared to exercise the training they received. 

The incident of the flood was at the height of man’s rebellion against the Creator. After the flood, YeHoVaH commanded Noah’s sons and their wives to be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth. The people, who all spoke the same language, came together and decided that they did not want to be scattered or to fill the earth.  Mankind was rebelling again against YeHoVaH by showing their defiance against His rule and sovereignty in their lives.  They wanted to stay together and decided to build a tower to heaven.  As a consequence, Elohim confounded their language so that they did not understand one another's speech and scattered them upon the face of the earth.  Thus, the people were stopped in their building of the city and the tower of Babel.

From Shem to Moses is roughly 1,000 years.  According to resources, Shem’s descendant Eber is the originator of the Hebrew language.  Therefore it is only logical to conclude that Hebrew did not exist before Eber. The first time the word Hebrew is mentioned in the Bible it is associated with Abraham. Moses, the author of the Torah and a Hebrew, wrote the Torah in the language of the Hebrew.  Listen as Arthur traces the descendants of Shem which is the genealogy line that leads to King David and the Messiah.  

Jewish religion, in various forms and sects, existed before John the Baptist or Yeshua came to preach the True Gospel of the Kingdom. John the Baptist preached repentance, and after John was thrown into prison, Yeshua preached repentance from that time on. Yeshua did not come to build on or to expand the existing Jewish religion, but to dismantle the religion of the Jews which was steeped in traditions and bondage to the religious leaders. Yeshua came to usher in A New True Religion based on the truth that sets men free. In this portion of Matthew, Yeshua makes it crystal clear to His audience that His intent and the purpose of His teaching was distinctly and succinctly setting it apart from the teachings of the day. Yeshua’s followers would be distinctly set apart from those who would follow Jewish traditions. 

The Hamitic people are one of the oldest in civilization. The descendants of the sons of Ham are all mentioned in the New Testament.  The descendants of Ham migrated throughout modern Africa, the middle and far-east or Asia.  Cush is modern-day Ethiopia.  Mizraim is known today as Egypt.  Phut is Libya/Cyrene; and Canaan is Canaan/Sidon/Lebanon.

Yeshua said to His disciples in Matthew 5:20 “For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Righteousness and religion existed before Yeshua began His earthly Ministry. The righteous religious scribes and Pharisees held the people to a religious standard determined by them. Those who failed to live up to the standards were considered sinners compared to the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees. Yeshua attempts to reveal their righteousness as sinful as they attempt to expose Him as a sinner. 

Kingdom Authority, Kingdom Power, and Kingdom Living come with a price. Kingdom Authority is given to those who have been chosen by Yeshua in YeHoVaH and who have accepted the calling of Messiah in their service to YeHoVaH. The foundation of Kingdom Authority, Kingdom Power, and Kingdom Living is faith in Yeshua in YeHoVaH. Faith is the foundation and currency for all things in the Kingdom! Yeshua exclaimed He had not found such “great faith” in all Israel as the Centurion displayed. Without faith it is impossible to please YeHoVaH. Yeshua proceeds to demonstrate and test the faith of His disciples and followers as they follow Him and get firsthand lessons on faith and learn the price they will have to pay to follow him. 

Our ancestry goes back to the families of three brothers making all men relatives in the human sense of the word.   ALL human beings trace our roots back to Shem, Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah and his wife.  All Nations came from these 3 men. Every tribe, every ethnicity, every race of people originated with these 3 brothers.  As believers in the Hebrew Messiah, we trace our roots back to Yeshua.  

Noah stated that Japheth would dwell in the tents of Shem and that Canaan would be the servant of Japheth.  Japheth migrated to what is known today as modern Europe.

Moses, the writer of Genesis, lets us know that Ham is the father of Canaan because of the events that shall unfold in this portion of Scripture.  Noah gets drunk from his homemade wine and is uncovered within his tent. Noah cursed Canaan. This implies that Noah’s younger son did something but does not reveal what his younger son did.  Ham was not Noah’s younger son and Canaan was a grandson, so how can this verse be explained in a way that makes sense.
